Eldorado Emerson Private School:
Eldorado Emerson Private School in California is a non-profit private high school offering an international / ESL (English as Second Language) program to 7th-12th Grade international students. Eldorado Emerson Private School is located in the safe, clean, affluent City of Orange in Orange County, approximately 40 minutes south of Los Angeles, 20 minutes from local beaches, and 15 minutes from Disneyland, CA. Eldorado Emerson is a Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accredited school with approximately 200 students enrolled. Established over 50 years ago, our school is dedicated to excellence in education with an average class size of ten to eighteen students.

International / ESL Program:

The International / ESL program is made possible by a diverse faculty representing numerous foreign languages, in addition to a teacher with a Masters Degree in ESL, as well as small class sizes which provide individual attention to each student.

- Our International / ESL program attracts students from around the world to live in the United States and study at Eldorado Emerson.
- Students are accepted for the entire academic year: 11 months, September through July.
- We offer I-20 (F1) Visas, home-stay programs and transportation to and from school.
- International high school students take ESL classes for two class periods per day, and they take their regular high school classes for the rest of their class periods each day.
- Our intimate learning atmosphere is the hallmark of our school and has allowed us to create a family-like environment that is highly responsive to the needs of our international and ESL students.
- We accept applications to on a year-round basis.
- Incoming ESL students are evaluated by our in-house placement test, previous exposure to English and an oral interview with our ESL staff.
- Strong emphasis is on integrating ESL students into regular academic classes.

Courses / Programs
• Due to the current public health crisis, we are now offering ONLINE English classes for Houston, Texas and nation-wide kids and adults via Zoom video conferencing (Our students love it!).

• Give your child or teenager a head-start by enrolling them in the English classes offered by Crossing Borders in Katy, just west of Houston, Texas.

• We provide a range of ESL (English as a Second Language) programs designed for local students and international students. We offer after-school English classes for kids at elementary, middle and high school level.

• In addition, we offer winter and summer English camps for local and international students that can be booked from 2 to 6 weeks. Private English tutoring for high school students is also available.

• Available to local students and international students (ages 7-17), our English camps provide full immersion so students will speak and hear only English under the supervision of an experienced teacher. We believe that this is the best way to learn.
