DSLR Cameras can be borrowed for the classes. Digital photography is an exciting way be creative, capture memories and to have fun! Andy Piggott is passionate about photography and would like to help make you a more confident photographer. Photography workshops are a great way to improve your picture taking skills and learn new techniques while having fun. You may be planning a big trip and want to make sure you come back with the best possible travel shots. Travel photography is his specialist subject and he can give you a lot of advice on gear, locations, techniques and tips for better travel photography. Private Lessons for intensive learning are available when you need to make progress as rapidly as possible.
The photography classes can be enjoyed no matter your level of expertise:
* If you are an absolute beginner he can show you the basics that will get your photography on the right track.
* If you are an enthusiast he can show you many tips and technique to improve your images.
Andy Piggott has been a professional photographer since 1981. He loves his wife Di, Photography, Travel and Vintage Cheddar - in that order. His first camera was an Olympus Trip 35 bought 30 years ago and which he still has. He operated a professional colour darkroom for 8 years specialising in the Cibachrome process.
Stepping out of the dark in 1997 he has been staring at photos on monitors for over a decade. He went fully digital in 2003. His photographs have been published in Australia, U.K. USA and Asia. They have been featured in photography magazines, airline in-flight magazines, photographic "how to" books, travel brochures, calendars and advertising.
Much of his photography involves travel and he loves shooting landscapes, close-ups, people and nature. He has taught photography and Photoshop (Adobe Certified Expert) to individuals and to groups both in casual and in corporate environments. His approach to teaching photography is informal, informative and fun!
