FridgeDoorLive Theatre Company, Ontario: Located in Southwestern Ontario, Fridge Door Live Theatre Company offers a performing arts experience for children and youth. From September to March, Saturday Morning Theatre programs are offered in the Fall and Winter for youth who have an interest in theatre, dance, arts and live performances. Our programs each end in a full production. In July and August, there are 5-day camps for grades 3-12 in London, St. Thomas, Strathroy and Ingersoll. The aim of our programs is to provide a fun environment and challenging experience for children and youth while also practicing and nourishing teamwork, partnership and community values.
SATURDAY MORNING THEATRE A weekly program during the school year for youth who have an interest in the performing arts. Each week includes theatre activities as well as rehearsing a final production that could include acting, singing and choreography. A final production will take place during the final week where family and friends are invited to attend.
Time: Saturdays, 9:30 am - 12:00 Noon Grade 4-10 Limited Enrollment: Each project will be limited to 18 youth, based on a first-registered-with-payment basis. FALL Session: September to Early December WINTER Session: January to March Break
Memorizing: Each week, participants will need to spend some time at home memorizing some lines and possibly some music.
Guidelines: For the safety and benefit of all registrants, all youth must participate under the direction of the leadership. Those choosing not to follow the leadership will not be permitted to return and no refund will be made.
SUMMER THEATRE CAMP (July and August): Limited Enrollment: 18 youth each week, based on a first-registered-with-payment basis.
Schedule: For the benefit of all registrants, daily attendance is required. Performance: A performance will be scheduled for the Friday evening for families and friends to attend. Lunch: Each person will need to bring a lunch with a drink each day. Age: Grouped by grades in various locations.
