Pauline Fraisse Art & Culture, Paris:
Pauline Fraisse Art & Culture is an art school in Paris city center that provides customized drawing and painting classes to young children & teenagers (3 to 17 years old), adults and tourists. Available in summer and year-round, mediums taught include drawing with colored pens and pencil/ ink, sketching with pencil, watercolor painting, acrylic painting and mixed media; oil painting, and more. Classes are taught in English and / or French.

Customized Art Classes for Kids & Teens (ages 3-17)
For groups of 1 to 3 children. Taught in English and / or French.

• Customized Courses for Young Children / Preschoolers (3-4 years old) - 3:30-4:30PM - Wednesday
1 Hour class:  It is possible to take one individual class or to come on a weekly basis at the studio.

This course aims at developing your child's accuracy of drawing, creativity, and the pleasure of using his / her imagination. The program is based according to the child's age and artistic taste.

Young children learn to create colors and patterns, observe and transcribe their own personal visions. Later, they study perspective, light, shadows and values.

Elements of the following can be combined:

1. Initiation: Learning colors, creating patterns, discovering the possibilities of collage, making 3D objects with paper or salt dough.

2. Observation drawing: Developing one's eye, precision of drawing, use of colors. Learning to use acrylic painting. Composing still lives and drawing animals.

3. Illustration and imaginary work: Learning how to draw human body, animals, facial expressions.

4. Mixed media: Creating images using collage, texture, paint.

5. First steps with History of Art: Getting familiar with the way an artist used to work in the past, and to create unique works based on that inspiration.

Basic supplies are included, except for paper. It is recommended to buy an A4 size sketchpad (ex: "Canson XL" sketchpad). The sketchbook can be left at the studio between two classes for convenience if you would like.

- It is also possible to organize courses for a group of children, for instance for a birthday party!

- It is possible to offer gift-certificates for courses and workshops.


• Customized Courses for Children & Teenagers (ages 5 to 17) - 2:00-3:30PM - Wednesday
90 minute classes for groups of 1 to 4 children. The children work on a same subject, or on different subjects, depending on their level and personal preferences.

Customized courses for children include initiation to color, developing creativity, drawing, collage, illustration or fashion drawing. The courses aim at developing accuracy of drawing, creativity, and the pleasure of using your imagination. The program is based according to the child's age and artistic taste. 

It is possible to join on a single occasion, or regularly.

Elements of the following themes and subjects can be combined:

1. Initiation: Learning colors, creating patterns, discovering the possibilities of collage, making 3D objects with paper or salt dough.

2. Observation drawing: Developing one's eye, precision of drawing, use of colors and values. Learning to use acrylic painting. Composing still lives and portraits.

3. Illustration and imaginary work: Illustrating stories and making comic strips; learning body positions, facial expressions, perspective in order to create spaces and figures.

4. Art-journal and mixed media: Making one's own art-journal, combining text and images; finding new ways to express ideas and create images, using collage, materials, paint.

5. First steps with History of Art: Study the way an artist used to work in the past, and create works in that manner.

Classes for Parents / Adults / Families:  
Subjects and themes that included traditional French architecture, modern architecture, modern life, real life, still life, motion, imagination.

Children and teenagers under the age of 18 can also join adult courses, provided an accompanying adult joins as well. Private lessons can also be provided.
