English Right Now, NYC:
Based on Manhattan's Upper West Side, English Right Now is a NYC language school that provides on-site and online Private English classes, TOEFL Test Preparation, Business English classes, Accent Reduction tutoring, and General English Conversation lessons. Suitable for beginner to advanced learners, our comprehensive ESL programs are open to both locally-based and international students (adults, professionals, college students and older teenagers). Classes are held one-on-one or semi-private (2 students) in a relaxed environment at our center in Manhattan, or at your chosen location (home, workplace, cafe), or online via Skype / Facetime / Google Hangouts.

English Language Courses:
- at Basic Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate to Advanced levels

Private English Lessons:
Private English classes (One-on-one or for 2 students) can be held either weekly, daily, on a short-term intensive basis, or on an individual schedule agreed by you and your instructor.

Classes can be held at our language center or at your office or home. Focus is on reading, writing and speaking English while also incorporating grammar, vocabulary building, and pronunciation.

For face-to-face classes, we may be able to accommodate specific requests from parents and guardians for teenagers 15 years of age and older. All classroom materials are provided by English Right Now.


Business English Classes: 
Our Business ESL classes are offered on a one-to-one or semi-private basis. The classes are based on the student's needs and focus on business vocabulary, business writing, oral communication, language for meetings and making presentations.

Accent Reduction Classes: 
Focuses on intonation, stress and pronunciation. The student's problem sounds are identified so that the student can learn how to hear their mistakes and learn techniques to correct them.

Students work on practicing clear and correct pronunciation of English words and sounds, acquiring new vocabulary and word usage and identifying stress, intonation and rhythm patterns in English.


TOEFL Exam Preparation:
The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a standardised test of English language proficiency for non-native English speakers. Our one-on-one TOEFL class can give you the instruction and strategies for performing well on the test. Classes can be held at our center, or online.


English for Teenagers (Older High School Students, 15+ years)
Private, face-to-face classes. Subjects covered: Grammar, Writing, Listening, Reading, Pronunciation


Online / Distance English Classes - via Skype, FaceTime, or Google Hangouts:
Minimum age: 18. All of our one-on-one classes can be held online. Online English lessons provide students with greater flexibility in learning.

- Subjects taught online: Grammar, Writing, Listening, Reading, Pronunciation, TOEFL test preparation, Business English for professionals/ executives. All classroom materials are internet based.

Your online English teacher will send you assignments to complete. Then, during a scheduled online appointment, you meet with your teacher to focus on the assignments and the lesson.
