Nebraska Christian Schools:
Nebraska Christian School (NCS) is an inter-denominational, Christian boarding and day school located west of Omaha in Central City, Merrick County, Nebraska. NCS offers a full educational program for preschool- Grade 12 with boarding from Grades 7-12. We focus on providing a college preparatory curriculum with AP courses, ACT and SAT and a program of extra-curricular activities and student services. Additionally, we offer vocational classes such as family & consumer science and industrial arts as well as ESL programs for our international students.
We are approved by the Nebraska Department of Education and are an ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) member school.

Our mission at Nebraska Christian is to assist the family and church by providing a Christ-centered education, equipping students with a Biblical world view and encouraging a relationship with the surrounding community.
Co-Educational Boarding & Day Programs:
- Boarding Programs (Grades 7-12)
- Day Programs from (preschool-Grade 12)
- 4-day school week with fifth day used for special programs, tutoring, study time and trips
- College Preparatory Curriculum with math, science, English, social studies, and foreign languages
- Advanced Placement Courses
- College Preparation Courses ACT and SAT
- Vocational classes such as family & consumer science and industrial arts
- English as a Second Language Program
Residence facilities are available for senior high students and mature junior highers which emcompasses grades 7-12. We provide separate dorms for boys and girls.
Class fund raising:
The project that is permitted yearly is the concessions and candy store by the junior class. All other fund-raising projects must be approved by the class sponsor and the administrator.
Music Organizations:
Students who wish to become members of choir, musical ensembles or instrumental groups are selected by try-outs. Groups and soloists perform in churches and music contests each year.
Publications:
Student staff are selected each year for the Reflector, the school yearbook.
Speech:
Students are given opportunities to participate in speech contests during the winter speech season.
Student Council:
Each class elects one representative to serve on the Student Council. Class presidents also serve as members. This group is responsible for planning various events such as Homecoming, the Christmas Banquet, etc.
