Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine is a natural health and holistic medicine school in the Green Lake area of Northern Seattle (20 minutes north of Downtown).

We provide two distinct Master’s Degree programs - in Acupuncture (M.Ac.), and Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (M.Ac.O.M.).

Both programs are 3 years / 36 months in length with three 15 week trimesters per year. Both Degrees share courses in Year 1.

Our belief that the best way to train future practitioners is to provide learners with hands-on clinical experience from the beginning of their training.

We do this clinical training with faculty that each have a minimum of ten years of clinical practice.
Masters Degree in Acupuncture (M.Ac.)
