Angelo State University:
Angelo State University, located in West Central Texas, offers a music program which has distinguished itself as one of the finest in the state. As part of a regional institution, we are large enough to offer the advantages of many bigger schools, but are also small enough to provide an intimate and nurturing environment for our students. With a dynamic, energetic faculty and an emphasis on undergraduate teaching, we pride ourselves in our ability to meet the individual needs of our students in an active, thriving arts community.
Students may choose from the Bachelor of Music degree with all-level teacher certification or the Bachelor of Arts degree with emphasis in music. In addition, we offer numerous opportunities for students from all majors on campus to continue making music on a regular basis.
The Marching Ram Band
The Marching Ram Band heightens the competitive atmosphere at football games through a display of school spirit and entertaining performances. The Ram Band is the largest student organization on campus and offers its students the opportunity to develop life skills through teamwork and leadership, on campus and beyond. In addition to performing at all home football games, the band generally travels to one away game each year. Regularly scheduled rehearsals take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:00-4:50 and before home football games.

Angelo State University provides a variety of scholarship opportunities for talented incoming freshman who desire a major in music or to participate in one of our outstanding musical ensembles.
Ensembles
At ASU, we pride ourselves in offering the finest ensemble experiences available. Students are provided with performance opportunities in a wide variety of areas, and every large ensemble on campus awards scholarships on a yearly basis. In addition, all ensembles are open to qualified students of any major.
Summer Camps
This year’s camp will have an invigorated emphasis and updated structure that focuses on high quality instruction from national leaders in our profession. This combined with our tradition of fun daily activities will insure that a good time will be had by all!

Conveniently located in Plano TX, The International Music Conservatory (IMC) provides group music classes and private music lessons for kids and teenagers ages 2-18 from all over the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area.
