With 4 locations in the Greater Tampa Bay area, The Broach School is is a private K-12, non-profit special education school for children with specific learning disabilities (SLD) and autism. The Broach School was started in 1973 to meet the ever-increasing need for quality personalized instruction.

Our School was founded to help students who were getting lost in overcrowded classrooms by giving each one the complete, personal attention of their teacher. Today, The Broach School is continuing to reach new heights by helping students overcome learning disabilities and gain confidence in the classroom.

The Broach School models the 1-room schoolhouse method of early American education. Each course is designed to take students from a point of weakness to a point of strength. Students are taught personally in small groups to ensure every student can proceed at their own pace without losing the value of a shared classroom experience.

The Broach School has four locations in the Greater Tampa Bay area in Bradenton, St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Zephyrhills.

AEF Preparatory Schools, South Florida

Catering to students in the Fort Lauderdale / South Florida area, AEF Schools is a multiple-campus, co-educational private school program for students in Grades 1-12. Our four separate schools provide Elementary, Middle and High School Preparatory programs, as well as a therapeutic and social program for children with learning difficulties. AEF schools offer a traditional curriculum which is supplemented by social, cognitive, and life skills, specifically designed to teach both the English language and culture.

AEF caters to students who, for one reason or another, are not being successful or as successful as they should be academically, socially, and/or at home. Many of AEF School’s students have been diagnosed with ADHD, Aspergers, Autism, and related disorders. Some students do not have a diagnosis; they simply perform better in a smaller, safer, and more structured environment.

Instead of combining all of our programs and students on one large campus, AEF has opened multiple campuses in order to better accommodate the individual needs of our students. Each campus focuses on specific goals and caters only to students whose needs can be met.
