MCITC Medical Training Center, Millville:
Located in Millville, Cumberland County NJ, MCITC Medical Training Center is a private vocational school that provides a range of allied health courses to students who are interested in a career in the healthcare industry. Allied Health / Career Training Programs:
Certified Medical Billing & Coding Specialist (on-site)
Duration: 8 Weeks / 160 Hours (Monday - Thursday)
This course prepares both those who have never worked in the medical field or those with previous medical experience to obtain their credentials. Graduates of this program will be eligible to take 5 National Certification Exams.
Medical Billing & Coding (online)
Duration: 160 Hours
The Online course covers all aspects of the Medical Billing/Coding curriculum. This is an excellent program for someone who is interested in a career in Medical Billing/Coding but also needs to work while taking a course. Students study from the comfort of their own home.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Duration: 4-6 weeks (90 Hours)
Certified Nursing Assistants works under the direction of physicians, RN's, LPN's to provide daily basic care for patients. CNA's must be able to provide personal assistance to individuals who are unable to care for themselves and help them regain and maintain daily functions.
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
Duration: 160 hours
Modules include: Anatomy & physiology, Basic Terminology used by CMA’s, Intro to Medical Billing-Coding, Fundamentals of health insurance, Recording Procedures, and Patients Accounts.
CNA/Certified Home Health Aide
Duration: 10 hour Conversion Course
A Certified Home Health Aide provides personal care such as light housekeeping duties, bathing and grooming to elderly, convalescent or disabled persons in the home of patients or in a residential care facility. Our instructors have many years of positive instruction and a very high percentage of students who pass their exams the first time.
Phlebotomy Technician/Phlebotomist:
Duration: 120 Hours
As well as a classroom, students will be taught in a "simulated drawing / laboratory station", preparing them to be ready to work upon completion of the course and after sitting for the Certification of their choice.
Customer Service Specialist/Receptionist:
Duration: 6 Weeks, 120 Hours, Monday - Thursday
This (6) week course prepares you to be "Highly Job Marketable" as both a Customer Service Specialist and a Receptionist. Insurance, Medical, Construction and General Businesses needing Customer Service are all looking for front end workers.
