Reach Cambridge - Academic Camps in UK & Online:
Develop your skills as a journalist and learn more about the modern media with an intensive 3-week academic summer course from Reach Cambridge. We provide unique residential summer courses at the world-renowned Cambridge University (just 50 miles north of London) for international high school & secondary school students, ages 14-18 to help prepare them for a university environment. Students stay in one of Cambridge University’s colleges or in our central Cambridge headquarters, ‘Reach Hall’. The average class ratio is 12 students to 1 teacher, which ensures that all students are able to interact with the teachers as the lessons progress.

Journalism & Media Residential Summer Program for High School Students:
3 week camp for students ages 14-18 in July / August

This is a vibrant and challenging course for students who want to think critically about the nature and values of journalism while simultaneously gaining invaluable hands-on experience of real-life journalistic practice.

Students are introduced to practical skills of writing and editing, as well as enjoying an exciting series of workshops on topics such as photojournalism and video broadcasting.

Students also explore key issues in contemporary journalism such as sources and veracity, ethics in journalism and online reporting.

Whether your child is interested in studying journalism or media at university, keen to become the next great journalist, or simply curious about journalism & media in the modern world, he or she will gain enormously from this unique course.
