Hua Xia Northern Chinese School in New Jersey offers Chinese classes on Saturdays at Verona High School, 151 Fairview Avenue, Verona, NJ. Huaxia Chinese School is a non-profit organization established in 1995 registered in the state of New Jersey. The objectives of the school are to teach Chinese language, promote Chinese culture and serve the community.

We offer the following Mandarin Chinese Lessons in Verona NJ:

Multiple level Chinese classes for Children, Chinese as a Second Language for Children and Adults, from Beginner Level (no experience necessary) to Intermediate / Advanced Chinese / Asian Dance, Karate, Music classes.

Other offerings vary by semester and may include Chinese calligraphy and painting, chess, and organized family/children outings and competitions. Students are offered the opportunity to perform in school shows such as the end of year graduation ceremony and Chinese new year celebrations.

In addition, we offer several short-term classes year round for specialized needs such as "Pre-Adoption Chinese Class" where you can quickly build up your basic conversation skills to prepare you for success when traveling to China to adopt a child. Also being offered by popular demand is a multi-level Chinese conversation class for adults as well as our "Mommy and Me" class which will enable mothers and their children to have fun while learning Chinese together. Other multi-media classes for children, involving learning games are offered on an ongoing basis.
