Language and Culture Institute LINGUA LITUANICA provides various courses:
1) Lithuanian Language Courses in small groups
Language and Culture Institute helps students to prepare for the State Language examination. In order to know your language proficiency level you can take a free test before the course. Our institute's lecturers will recommend which group to attend.
2) Course of Spoken Lithuanian Language
Spoken Lithuanian language course is intended for those who have already picked up some Lithuanian and want to develop the skills of spoken language. Conversations and discussions on live issues of culture, politics, sports, leisure, and daily life are held in lectures.
3) Intensive Lithuanian Language and Culture Summer Course
The Course runs for 4-6 acade
mic hours per day, with Language practice for 44 hours and Lithuanian history, literature and ethnology for 6 hours. The Course is based on the communicative teaching style, which combines speaking, listening, reading and writing activities, along with elements of traditional teaching methods such as suggestopedia and transmission.
4) Lithuanian, English, French or Russian Language Course via Skype
Skype courses are relevant to those who live abroad. By using video conference all language skills are taught: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Language experts will form an individual program and select the most suitable learning method.
5) Individual Course of Lithuanian, English, French or Russian Language Course
Lithuanian, English or Russian Language Courses are for those who travel frequently and can not study in a group. All language skills are taught: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Language experts will form an individual program and select the most suitable learning method. Together with the teacher student performs a variety of tasks, discuss on different topics of interest.
6) Lithuanian Language Summer Course for children
During this course children will improve reading, writing and speaking skills in Lithuanian language. Interesting creative tasks, games and friendly environment will help to get interested in Lithuanian language. Learning comes together with exploration during excursions to Railway and Money museums. On Saturdays it is possible to go to excursions with parents.
7) Lithuanian Language E-Course for beginners (A1 and A2 levels)
Online and Distance Learning at Language and Culture Institute LINGUA LITUANICA offers a new way of combining innovative learning and teaching techniques with interaction with your lecturer and fellow students from around the world.
The course consists of 10 parts and final test. Every part includes chapters on communication, grammar, and vocabulary. To solidify the material, various exercises have been prepared. Appendixes (grammar tables, the Lithuanian-English and English-Lithuanian vocabulary), will help you to do the exercises.
8) Lithuanian Constitution Course
Language and Culture Institute LINGUA LITUANICA organizes Lithuanian Constitution course, which is for those who want to prepare for Lithuanian Constitution exam. The exam can be taken twice a year in the particular institutions. You are welcome to study in the group or individually!
