The National School of Leadership - Mountain Campus:
The National School of Leadership Mountain Campus is proud of being one of the most beautiful campuses in the country. The campus is located at 10 Kms from the Hill town of Mussoorie, Uttaranchal, India, at an altitude of 4500 ft. in picturesque surroundings of the Himalayas, overlooking cascading waterfalls of Kempty.

This campus is thematically built based on Himalayan Culture and Heritage. Spread across 15 acres, this campus has a magnificent training area of over 200 acres with snow covered mountains, streams, water falls, flora and fauna that bestows a lifetime experience of unlearning and learning for the students of NSL.

No student having qualified for admission has ever had to leave National School of Leadership due to financial problems. The National School of Leadership, being a National mission aimed at building great leaders, organizations and nations, in order to attract meritorious students from the lower socio-economic strata of society, NSL attempts to provide as many scholarships as possible.

Apart from that, Financial Aid is available to qualified admitted students in the form of student loans. We are authorized to certify student loans from financial institutions as well as loans through private lending institutions. The interest rates and borrow benefits vary between lenders; therefore students are encouraged to carefully research loan options.

If a student has qualified for admission into NSL, but cannot afford the fees, there are three options available to them. The Scholarship amount sanctioned will be adjusted against the fee payable to NSL and the percentage reflected is with regard to the tuition fee.

We believe that the members of the NSL Alumni Association are NSL’s ambassadors to the outside world. The Office of NSL Alumni Association provides a wide range of services and resources, organizes reunion events, and offers a host of benefits exclusively for the NSL alumni. As an alumnus, you get a lifelong access to our Alumni dashboard that helps you network with other alumni. We encourage you to participate in student orientation programs and information sessions. We also invite you to stay involved with the School through the mentoring programs.

Interested in becoming a Leadership Mentor? NSL is keen to draw on the experience and wisdom of its graduates to help current students and alumni in a range of areas including industry advice, interview tips and study plans for current students looking for careers in specific industries. There is a host of opportunities for you to engage in and help current students by providing your objective support, share experiences and networks.

Careers Guidance & Internship Programs
NSL offers a range of services to help its graduates develop their careers or change jobs through our Career Guidance & Internship Program Service. It is an invaluable service particularly if you are looking to relocate, change industry or find new recruits for your own business or company.

As a company, if you are able to offer full-time vacancies or placements to current students or recent graduates, the Careers notice board is available for you as well as the students. You can advertise job opportunities if you are looking for new recruits or search for a new job.

Leaders Speak
Alumni are invited to send in article contributions for the Leaders Speak section as well as Research papers for publishing in the NSL Research column. It is a great forum to share your views, ideas and opinions with the entire NSL community.

If you have lost your certificate or require a transcript or official verification of your qualifications, please contact the NSL Registrar.

Requests will be dealt with promptly but please note that during busy times of the year, other activities might take priority over transcript requests.

Access to Online Global Leadership Library
NSL Alumni are welcome to visit the institute’s online library for reference and independent study. They can even contribute to the library.

Life time E-mail Forwarding
When you enroll, NSL will forward all messages received through a special NSL email address to your own active E-mail account. This way, no matter how many times your E-mail address changes due to changes in Internet Service Provider or employer, you will have a permanent, easy to remember address that will help friends and colleagues to stay in touch.

Due to the heavy volume of requests for this service, establishing an e-mail forwarding account may take up to a week.

Please note that this is not an actual e-mail account but rather a forwarding service which passes mail along to your current internet service account.

Annual Alumni Fee
Membership to the NSL Alumni Association is complimentary. All you need to do is to complete your long duration program from NSL.

Lead India is a national initiative directed towards empowering folks from Rural India (REAL INDIA) with the Leadership Skills that can change lives and help in upliftment of society and standards of living.

Through short-term leadership training camps and workshops in remote villages in India, some of the greatest Leadership Gurus and Students at National School of Leadership join hands in imparting life changing leadership skills.

Through the Lead India program, our students also play the role of Leadership Mentors for villagers with the zeal to take REAL INDIA to where new Leaders breed and expand.

During these workshops, apart from practical trainings, some of our lectures are translated into the local language spoken in the village with the help of our students and screened. Our students, who speak the local language, help the village folks by mentoring them towards acquiring new leadership skills to excel beyond their own imaginations.

Entire proceedings are conducted in their local language. We also consider conducting these trainings using the local dialect as a medium if their understanding of the closest language is seen as a challenge.

4. Do we charge any fee from people from the village who attend our training?

No. We do not charge any fee from participants of the Lead India initiative.

5. What is my role as a student of NSL during Lead India programs?

You can be a coordinator and Leadership Mentor. However, you would need to go through the screening process to qualify as a Mentor.

6. Is it mandatory to participate?

No. Your participation is voluntary.

7. Are there any financial gains for students who participate?

No. There are no financial gains for our students. However, the expenses during these programs are taken care of at actual.
