North Cobb Christian School, Kennesaw:
Located in Kennesaw, Cobb County, Georgia, twenty-five miles north of Atlanta, North Cobb Christian School is an independent, interdenominational Christian School serving K3 through 12th grade. Because North Cobb Christian School believes each student has been endowed with unique gifts and abilities, we offer both college preparatory and distinguished scholar programs, plus Honors and Advanced Placement classes. In addition, NCCS has four Academic Academies, awarding-winning arts programs and championship athletics. NCCS offers the RISE (Research, Investigate, Study, Evaluate) Program for gifted 2nd-5th graders. Advanced Math classes are offered in 5th-8th grade.

Lower School:
The Lower School of NCCS is noted for providing excellence in its skill-based academic programs. Reading and writing are critical components of the Lower School program. A Literacy Coordinator works closely with classroom teachers to ensure continuity in the development of student skills. Lower school students are encouraged to continue reading during the summer months. Recommendations for summer reading are located under Academics/Summer Information. During the school year students receive reading incentives through such programs as Accelerated Reader, Book-It, and Six Flags Six Hour Reading Club.
In addition to the core curriculum, NCCS provides the following "specials" in the Lower School:

Middle School:

Keeping this in mind we have developed a program that is varied and comprehensive with the idea that as each student enters his/her high school years he/she will choose a pathway of learning that will match their God-given talent. The premise behind NCCS' Middle school experience is that as Christ grew we also should grow.
Along this line we have provided opportunities for our students to grow substantially in the mental, physical, social, and spiritual realms.
Upper School:
Upper School is comprised of 9th -12th grades. We partner with the parents in helping students disco
ver the unique purpose God has for them. Therefore we have designed our program around the three essential A's... academics, athletics and the arts.
We provide a biblically based college preparatory curriculum with English, math, science, history, fine arts, world languages and a wide range of electives that affords students the opportunity to excel in the academics.
Honors and Advanced Placement Courses:

College Preparatory Courses:
We offer college prep courses for SAT and ACT.
Fine Arts:
Our fine arts program, develops young artists in a variety of fields including drama, dance, instrumentation and vocal arts. Students desiring a career in the arts are invited to audition for our Academy of the Arts program.
Academies:
In addition to the Academy of the Arts, upper school students showing interest and promise can choose to enroll in The Academy of Business, The Academy of Math, Science, and Technology or The Academy of Counseling, Ministry, and Education.
Athletics:
