Iidabashi Language School (ILS) is a Japanese language school in Tokyo, Japan offering a range of Japanese courses to students from around the world. Our Japanese courses include intensive Japanese, JLPT exam preparation, private Japanese lessons and more. We also offer evening and weekend Japanese classes for elementary level students.

ILS has no fixed study terms. This means students can begin their lessons at a convenient time, study at their own pace, and take advantage of any long holidays they may have to really focus on their Japanese study. Short-term students also find this system perfectly matches their needs.
Students can begin their lessons from any Japanese level, and our busier students are also well catered for - weekday lessons are available up to 9.30 p.m. and the school is also open on Saturdays.
Our Teachers:
All the teaching staff at ILS have specialist training and plentiful experience in teaching the Japanese language. Our teachers provide comprehensive support for students aiming to boost their Japanese level, whether this be in the form of advice about self-directed learning, adjusting the pace of the lesson to students’ levels and goals, identifying and providing directed help for students’ weak points or tailoring lessons to suit individual needs.
In order to ensure our lesson style stays conversation-focused, our teachers undergo continuous training and attend regular study sessions to help them improve their skills.
ILS is located one minute on foot from Iidabashi Station. With easy access to the JR Sobu Line, Tokyo Metro Tozai Line, Yurakucho Line, Nanboku Line and the Toei Oedo Line, ILS is convenient for students living all over Tokyo.
