Academic Programs:

For Japanese students, we offer a unique opportunity to study business and management in English in a very international environment without leaving Japan. For international students, it is a chance to study in Tokyo, one of the trendiest and most cosmopolitan cities in the world, creating a solid knowledge base on global business and management on the one hand, and to learn about Japan and Asia in depth on the other. Providing for easier transferability of credits, study programs are compatible with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), as well as with the American educational system that is based on semester and quarter credits. Students of the Tokyo Business School can transfer to any other UIBS campus without interrupting their studies.

Our study programs are based on and fully compatible with the established European and American educational systems. Studying the core courses in Operations Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, and Financial Management, our graduate students also choose from a wide range of special selective courses tailored to their needs. We put a strong emphasis on teaching global, Asian and European management and economy to bring up managers and businessmen well-equipped to succeed in today’s global business environment.

All our courses are taught in English. However, with the exception of the class time, it is possible to consult our faculty members and staff in Japanese as well. Our partnership with the ISAAC Language School opens an excellent opportunity to take English, Japanese and other language courses depending on your needs and preferences.

Interactive teaching is ensured by small study groups and intensive individual guidance and counseling. Students are regularly assessed through a mix of individual and team projects, presentations, papers, mid-terms and final exams. Our graduates get their diplomas from the United International Business Schools and are welcome to take part in a beautiful graduation ceremony which is held in Barcelona or Zurich.
