Ibla! Italian-Language-School is inside the ancient noble palace of Arezzo di Donnafugata, close to the wonderful eighteenth century, tufa stone built church (“Duomo”) of San Giorgio. Learning Italian in an unique location where architecture, beauty, tradition, lost scents, sounds and flavours still today cast you in a “fifty years ago atmosphere”, is the mission of the school.

The climate is hot and dry in the summer, and rather mild with light rainfall in winter.
Ibla! Italian Language School is proudly situated in the heart of the Baroque architecture region of south eastern corner of Sicily at Ragusa Ibla, a small, ancient town in the core of the Val di Noto area of south east Sicily, and a Unesco World Heritage site. Ibla is the ancient part of Ragusa. Our school is located inside the restored palace of Arezzo di Donnafugata. All rooms are air conditioned, with internet availability.
Some of the most attractive Sicilian highlights, are just a few miles away from Ragusa Ibla, namely; Noto, Modica, Scicli, Palazzolo Acreide and the castle of Donnafugata. There are also day excursions to Caltagirone, Siracusa, Catania and Mount Etna volcano (see below).
