Vivere l'italiano, located in Central London, England, is an Italian language school offering Italian language courses that give you the chance to soak up Italy’s culture by combining your language skills with other important cultural aspects such as cooking, art and cinema, literature and politics. At Vivere l’italiano – Living Italian – we believe that learning a language is about more than just getting grammar right. Our teaching methods enhance the potential of students, the vitality of the Italian language and the enjoyment of learning.

We have a team of professionals, all of whom have been personally interviewed and selected by us to ensure that, as well as being qualified and experienced, they are personable, friendly and able to quickly establish a rapport with their students. All our tutors are native Italian speakers and are enthusiastic about teaching their mother tongue! We are always in regular contact with our tutors starting at the inception of each course where the tutors' lesson plans are discussed and agreed upon. During each course we regularly liaise with them, and on occasion attend individual lessons, to ensure the course is running smoothly.

About Us:
The ethos of Vivere l’italiano is to make the Italian language come to life. While vocabulary and grammar is very important, we believe learning the language and culture should also go beyond the four walls of a classroom. Therefore, we like to take students further than the textbooks by encouraging them to participate in realistic situations, whether it is shopping for food, eating in an Italian restaurant, going to the cinema, visiting art exhibitions, or simply talking football. We find this makes our students more confident speakers early on and gives them the practical tools to use what they have learnt in class.

Vivere l’italiano also believes a very fundamental part of learning is to have fun! Our aim is not to teach by rote, but to capture students’ imaginations with enjoyable and challenging exercises that they can translate to their daily lives. Italian is, after all, a living subject.

Location:
Vivere l'italiano is based in Central London, where we run most of our group and one-to-one courses. However, we have many students, both in groups or individually, whom our tutors visit at various locations in and around London at both private and business premises. Wherever possible, we are happy to accomodate our courses to best suit our students' needs.
