Poppyhill School of Recording: Poppyhill School of Recording is located approximately four miles from Naas town in County Kildare, Ireland. Don't expect to find a big University campus! We're a dedicated facility located in pleasant countryside surroundings, allowing our students to train in a friendly undisturbed and creative atmosphere with complete immunity from the typical drawbacks of city locations such as parking problems, lack of student accommodation, high rental costs etc. That said, students can still enjoy a vibrant social life while attending the school. Naas is one of the fastest growing towns in Ireland and leisure and nightlife facilities are excellent.
Coming from the South or West...
1. Enter Naas town
2. Take the Dublin Road from Naas
3. At the first set of traffic lights (Tesco on your right), turn right for Blessington
4. Continue along the R410 for approx. 4mls.
5. At Eadestown church turn right (you'll see a sign post for Blessington)
6. Continue for approx. 0.5mls and you see a sign for Poppyhill at the entrance...You'e here!!
7. Watch out for our school mascot (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Charlie!)
Coming from Dublin... You can approach the school form Naas (see directions above) or via Tallaght.
If coming via Tallaght, proceed as follows:
1. Take the N 81 from Tallaght to Blessington
2. Pass through Blessington and take 1st right onto R410, signposted Naas
3. Continue for approx. 1.5mls. (you will now notice Glending forest on your right)
4. Continue for 1 ml.
5. Continue downhill round a sharp left corner.
6. You should now see a sign for Poppyhill on your left...you're here!!
7. Watch out for our school mascot (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Charlie!)
