Pathways School Noida:
Pathways School Noida was launched in 2010 and was the first ever IB school in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The day school is centrally located with ease of access from Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad. The school applies the Multiple Intelligences approach, developed by Dr. Howard Gardner from Harvard University. The school provides a safe, tranquil, stimulating and intellectually challenging environment suited to the learning needs of each individual. Our students learn to be confident communicators who think independently, use technology easily and move on to top universities in India and around the world. The curriculum includes the Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programme of the International Baccalaureate Organisation of Geneva. The curriculum taught by our highly trained staff is supported by outstanding facilities for sports, art, music, drama, and dance. The current student strength of the school is approximately 1000 with representation from multiple nationalities.

Technology Integration: The school is a leader for Technology for learning. Students use technology tools to learn for e.g simulations in Science,web-quests, voki, imovie, prezis, blogs, e-portfolios, moodle etc. All homework is uploaded on Google Calendar.
Through Flipped classrooms, students learn content through videos at home and in school developing understanding at their own pace.

Interactive Whiteboards & Projection Screens
To make classroom learning more exciting and interesting for the students, Pathways has now introduced Interactive Whiteboards as a medium to communicate and connect with the students in their own language.

Pathways School has taken an unprecedented step by integrating Information Communication Technology (ICT) with classroom teaching. The teachers will be using a digital format to prepare lessons and Interactive Whiteboards will be utilized to conduct lessons in the classroom.

Laboratories

Unlike the traditional system, Pathways School conducts both its theory lessons and practical experiments in the science laboratory itself. Pathways school is very well equipped with state of the art research industry standard laboratory equipments that enable the students to attain the highest level of excellence.

Studios

To expand the artistic qualities of our students, Pathways provides studios for Dance, Music and Theatre for ample practice.

Design & Technology Workshop

The Design & Technology laboratory at Pathways is very well equipped with industry standard machines and equipments enabling them to pursue individual projects. The teachers constantly guide and motivate the students and hone their skills to perfection.

Atriums

Pathways School houses a special atrium in each academic building, aesthetically done with skylights and a glazed finish to enable infusion of natural light, making it a prominent place well suited for socializing and group learning. We believe that besides classroom contact, education prospers with a lot of informal contact outside the classroom, therefore providing a space like these atriums that act as knowledge centres for students and teachers alike.

These atriums also have a mini amphitheatre for any activity or outdoor classes.

Amphitheatre

Another striking feature in the school is the majestic amphitheatre where most of the functions and school events like the Graduation Day, Founder's Day etc will take place. The amphitheatre will be able to accommodate more than 1000 people for any occasion

Dr. Shalini Advani has been Principal of the British School, New Delhi and Director Education of Learn Today.. Her wide experience in setting up and heading schools, includes creating effective learning environments, school management systems, staffing and curriculum development with the IB and GCSE curriculum as well as CBSE schools. She has conducted numerous teacher trainings on how children learn, collaborative teaching and whole school development. Her ideal school is one where every child, teacher, support staff member is encouraged to develop and grow.

Dr Advani was a member of the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) Steering Committee for the revised English Curriculum; on the editorial group for its English textbooks and a member of NCERT Special Committee to develop reading cells in government schools in Mathura district. Her publications include Growing Up in the Nuclear Shadow,(Orient Longman) a reader for young people on nuclearisation and peace, Educating the National Imagination (OUP) a study of nationalism in English language textbooks; and as special editor of an issue of Contemporary Education Dialogue, on the National Curriculum Framework 2005

She cares passionately about creating a dynamic educational environment for all children and believes that encouragement and a sense of humour are the most important tools for educators.

Physical Education Department

The sports at Pathways School Noida have given student an exposure to execute their sporting potential through Inter House & Participation and Hosting of Inter School Competition. We also organize practice matches with different schools to motivate the student’s regular participation during practices. The sports team is undergoing practices since the beginning of academic year till date. The sports played and participated majorly in Pathways Noida are Soccer, Basketball, Swimming, Squash, Golf, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton, Cricket, and Horse Riding. Physical Education Department

Sports 2015-16

The sports at Pathways School Noida have given students an exposure to execute their sporting potential through hosting Inter House & Inter School Competition, and also by giving exposure at Inter School Competitions held locally, Nationally and Internationally. The sports played and participated majorly at Pathways Noida are Athletics, Soccer, Basketball, Swimming, Squash, Golf, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton, Cricket, Baseball, Volleyball, Throw ball and Horse Riding.

The Pathways Scholarship Programme aims to award scholarships to exceptional, highly motivated and deserving students in the areas of Academics, Sports or The Arts. Such students must show great potential to further excel in their chosen disciplines thereby bringing laurels to their parents and the school.

Scholarship offerings to students shall be strictly based on their Merit cum Need.
Scholarships are available to new students entering either Grades 9 or 11 and shall be awarded for a two-year academic period. All Scholarships granted are reviewed annually and are based on the continued performance of the awardee. 

Scholarships may be offered as one of the following three percentages of the annual composite school fee: 25%, 50% or 75%, depending upon the assessed ‘need’ of an applicant.
