Computer Programming: Programmers tell a computer what to do using a variety of programming  languages that computers understand. IBC students will learn the many different programming languages as well as the.  ins and outs of administering and managing a networking system. This is a 16 month degree. The key courses are JAVA, Visual Basic Programming, UNIX, Object-Oriented Programming.

Computer Specialist: During IBC's Computer Specialist program, you'll learn even more about computers so you can get your first career job! You'll learn a variety of skills, from software application packages to administering a network. This is a 10 month diploma course. The key courses are PC Hardware and Diagnostics, Operating Systems, Networks, IT Customer Support.

Graphic Design:  Refine your skills and understand the role of design in the business world during IBC's graphic design program. Finish with a portfolio of work to help you get your first job in the world of graphic design. This is a 16 month degree course or a 12 month diploma course. Key Courses are Multimedia and Animation, Illustration, Web Development.

Network Management: Systems Architect, Database Administrator, Field Technician. These are just some of the titles that could be on your business card after you graduate from IBC's Network Management program. In just 16 months, you'll learn the skills to administer and maintain a networked environment. You will also receive specialized training in networking products such as MS Windows, Linux, SQL servers and Microsoft desktop operating systems.

Sign Language Interpreting Major at Goshen College

Located 25 miles southeast of South Bend, in Goshen, North Indiana, Goshen College is a private, co-educational, residential, college of the liberal arts and sciences rooted in the Anabaptist-Mennonite tradition.

The Sign Language Interpreting Department at Goshen College offers major and minor degree programs in American Sign Language. Our major programs are designed to prepare graduates for a professional interpreting career and to use their skills in service to the community as teachers and in the church.

The major courses have concentrations in ASL-English Interpreting or teacher education. The minor program is for students who wish to expand their language skills and cultural knowledge or to enhance other majors such as education, social work, psychology, etc. As part of the Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures Department we provide majors and minors in Spanish as well as lessons in French, Arabic, Khmer, Mandarin and Swahili.
