Pre-Primary School Program
Our newly designed nursery at Trio World School (TWS) in Bangalore was recently voted 1st Place in an Independent Nursery survey. This extremely well equipped nursery succeeds in providing a very nurturing and stimulating environment where children can grow and learn through creative play.
TWS is a Cambridge International School and uniquely for Bangalore follows fully the British National Curricular in all five of the Key Stages. The Nursery and Reception is certified both locally and internationally and in a very short time has gained an excellent reputation for its progressive and inspirational method of education for children, aged from 2 years 6 months to 5 years.
Both the Trio World School Nursery and Reception are extremely colourful, large, well lit and impeccably clean. Using the latest resources the school Nursery is based on the Montessori Method which believes that children learn directly from their environment and other children.
With two qualified teachers and an assistant teacher in every class it can also boast the remarkable statistic of having (as a maximum) 12 students per class.

The Elementary School Program
Key Stage 3 (11 - 14 Years old)

These are the Middle School or Intermediate years, Classes 7 to 9 and are critical for the student as they adapt to the change from Primary to Secondary styles of learning. Style’s which support their independent learning and focus more on inquiry and assessing information for its relevance. Our many subject teachers are experts in facilitating this transition and the differing teaching methods that are required. Students in these years will have core subjects of English, Mathematics, Sciences, Humanities, Arts and Sport, these being the foundation for the later IGCSE Options in Upper School.
Students in this age group really begin to experience the ethos and vision of the school and their part in upholding it. They are given greater responsibility, and with this come the accountability. Students begin to be seen as role models for the younger students and they participate more in the daily lives of the Primary Classes.
We fully meet the aims of the UK curriculum requirements for this age group, focusing our students to become successful, responsible and confident young people. Everything that our teachers do has the sole focus of achieving their continued growth, academically, physically and socially. Here at Trio World School we facilitate young people to be.

The Secondary School Program
Key Stage 5 (16 – 18 Years old)

The final school years, the Sixth Form; Classes 12 & 13 during which time there are examinations for A, AS Levels and maybe even NVQ or National Diplomas. It is also the time that a student’s maturity is empowering them to think for and beyond themselves and we consider it important for our pupils to strengthen the tools of critical thinking which our school has helped them develop over their previous years with us. Students at Trio World School will have reached a point in their school life where they demonstrate their potential, where expectations are high and where they are encouraged to make a positive contribution as leaders in our school. Our senior students are the positive role models to all around them.
They have developed into the global citizens that are a credit to themselves, their parents and certainly to us here at Trio World School. It’s a difficult yet pleasurable time for the staff here, especially those who have known the students as they have grown into the amazing young men and women that they have become. This is the bittersweet year when we say goodbye to them, and they enter their new status of Graduates of Trio World School.
