Located in North Side Chicago, Illinois, near Irving Park and the Lake, Smart Love Preschool offers a play-based curriculum within an eco-friendly environment as five day or half day (morning and afternoon) care programs for toddlers and children of 3-5 years. Families from Lakeview, Ravenswood, Irving Park, Avondale and surrounding Northside communities can be sure of the strength of our Smart Love philosophy which has been successfully applied by trained professionals in a broad range of settings for over three decades.

We have created a unique and inspiring toddler program involving spacious motor play, and lively group times designed especially for your child's optimal development. In our preschool section theme-based, age appropriate content is taught in an engaging way that stimulates children's natural curiosity about the world around them and incorporates early math and literacy skills. The Smart Love Preschool provides a setting that promotes young children's long-term academic success by strengthening their social-emotional health and inspiring their intellectual creativity through play-based learning.


Location and Facilities:

 

Smart Love Preschool is housed in a beautiful historic mansion on tree-lined Buena Avenue in the Hutchinson Street Historic District on the North Side. The campus includes the main house, coach house and garden, surrounded by a wrought iron fence. Smart Love Preschool will occupy the main floor with offices and parent/infant and parent/toddler programs on the second floor. Preschoolers will be able to enjoy the outdoor setting, tend a children's garden and hear stories in the home's beautiful library.

The Stage School

The Stage School is a part time performing arts school for children ages 4-16. Our classes for kids and teens are held in Park Ridge IL, 20 minutes north-west of Downtown Chicago.

The Stage School nurtures your child’s potential as they experience fun activities in drama classes, dance classes, and singing classes every Saturday.

In our classes, students will develop the core fundamentals of acting, singing, and dance. All students receive top quality, personalized instruction in all three disciplines.

Our classes consist of a variety of fun and engaging activities which help kids succeed both on and off the stage.

There are many worthwhile children’s activities in Park Ridge, but The Stage School provides a unique and fun learning environment.

Every Saturday our school is filled with children singing, children dancing, children acting, and engaging in a variety of fun activities. We look forward to having you join the fun!
Part-time Performing Arts Classes for children ages 4-16:

The Premier Program (Ages 4-6 years)

The Company Classes (Ages 6-16 years)
- Held every Saturday for three hours.
- Students are divided into three groups based on their age.

Allendale Association is a private, not-for-profit social service agency serving troubled teens / adolescents and children with moderate to profound emotional and behavioral disabilities. We are located in Lake Villa in north-western Lake County, Illinois. These youth and their families receive care and treatment through Allendale's residential treatment programs, day treatment special education schools or from our community based clinical programs and services.

Allendale serves over 700 children, youth and families annually. These children, often victims of abuse, neglect or severe mental illness, come to Allendale with the devastating experiences of failure in the classroom, misunderstanding in the home and isolation in the community. Our programs serve both male and female adolescents and kids ranging in age from eight to eighteen who are experiencing a wide variety of problems.

The more common "labels" are conduct disorder, emotional / behavioral disability, oppositional defiant disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, post traumatic stress, anxiety disorders, pervasive developmental disorders, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.
- Allendale Association offers a full-time on campus special education program for elementary and high school students.
