- Master in Hospitality Administration:
Our 14-month Master in hospitality is for career switchers wishing to move to hospitality or for career climbers seeking new responsibilities or a change of direction within the hospitality industry.

The hospitality MBA uses your expertise in a new context and allows you to develop a unique mix of competencies.

Lausanne’s Master of Hospitality Administration is a full-time, demanding, MBA-style degree programme. Lausanne’s “hospitality MBA” requires a minimum of 60 hours’ work each week, including classroom presence and preparation.

Lausanne's hospitality management MBA lasts for two semesters and consists of four modules, two per semester. It is preceded by a six-week preparatory course, which you will complete before your arrival on campus. The Professional Development Stream (PDS) runs throughout the programme and is closely integrated with all the other courses.

Term I:

Module 1: The art of hospitality:

It provides an overall picture of the hospitality industry today, focusing on its main driving forces, key industry figures, and present challenges. This module will help you to understand and analyze the financial performance of a hospitality operation: budgeting, cash flow and cost allocation. You will learn to evaluate assets and to place a quantitative value on change, or the value of an idea. You will also learn to prepare and edit financial data. This will allow you to make informed decisions and to justify a project to investors.

Term II:

Module 1: Strategy and corporate vision:
To master hospitality management, you need to understanding of the hard reality of the corporate world, and learn how can shape the tools you have acquired to create value both for yourself and the company you work for.

Module 2: Innovation and leadership:
Your final module consolidates all these different aspects in the hospitality MBA Master Business Project. This unique professional mandate, carried out in the field, will give you rigorous real-world experience in planning innovating, leading and persuading.

:

Our 2-year Hotel Management Diploma is for working professionals with some hospitality experience.
