Verbum Novum offers German courses for juniors and students from all over the world in the nicest German cities: Mainz (by Wiesbaden and Frankfurt), Munich, Berlin, Nuremberg and Bremen.

German language courses are offered for all levels from beginner to advanced for adults including group and individual classes, homestay programs, exam preparation courses and more, as well as German language summer camps for juniors in Mainz and Munich and winter camp in Berlin-Wannsee (Ages 14-17 years).

Our Mainz school is situated not far from the main station (behind the Bonifazius Towers) and close to the city center. The school can be easily reached by the public transport (bus or tram). The cozy "Old Town" can also be quickly reached. Here, you can see the famous Mainz Cathedral (Mainzer Dom), which is over 1000 years old.

The “Old Town” in Mainz with the half-timbered houses is the historical part of the city with its famous sightseeing as Cathedral of St. Martin (Mainzer Dom) etc. In the nice city Mainz you can also experience the famous Carneval in February.

Moreover Mainz is situated near Wiesbaden, so coming to Mainz you can visit two cities at once. Our school for adults in Mainz is situated not far from Main Trains Station and is easily to reach from all destinations. 


 

MUNICH – City of Oktoberfest: Munich is the capital of Bavaria located on the River Isar north of the Bavarian Alps. The city offers many historic places with impressive architecture. However, it is also a green city with numerous parks. Here you will find the largest park in the world: Englischer Garten.

In Munich, we offer programs for adults including the standard course, exam preparation courses as TestDaF, DSH, Studienkolleg and individual tuition, and a summer camp for juniors (14-17). Both schools in Munich are situated near the city center and can be quickly reached from all directions.


 

BERLIN – City of Cultural Diversity: Berlin has always been the scene of great historical moments. Berlin is also home to renowned universities, research institutes, orchestras, museums, and celebrities, as well as host of many sporting events.

In Berlin we offer for students 18+ the program "Summer College", which includes german classes and cultural program. This is the best way to get acquainted with Berlin and make learning German joyful.


 

NUREMBERG – City of Emperor with Rich History: Nuremberg was a location of the Imperial Castle. In the past, Nuremberg was the "unofficial capital" of the Holy Roman Empire. However, many people associate Nuremberg with its traditional gingerbread (Lebkuchen) products, handmade toys and pocket watches — Nuremberg eggs.

The school in Nuremberg is situated close to the central station and the city center. In Nuremberg, we offer a program for adults and for juniors. For juniors, we offer accommodation with host families.


 

BREMEN: The school in Bremen is situated not far from the city center in Bremen and can by easily reached by the public transport (bus or tram). Our students can also use the small computer class in the foyer of the school. The courses offered by the school in Bremen are suitable for students who intend to study later at a German university.

Horizonte language institute is located in Regensburg, Bavaria. If you want to learn German in Germany, this is the right place to go. Horizonte was founded in 1986 and has quickly earned a good international reputation through its high standard of teaching and its personal, friendly and unbureaucratic working ethos. Our language school is on the 4th floor of an office building (built in the 50's) in the quiet medieval city centre of Regensburg, they were completely refurbished in 2002. We have eight bright fully equipped classrooms. From some of them you have a view to the cathedral. You can have coffee and use 6 computers at any time. In the afternoon you can in the language and study.
Standard 20 lessons/wk, intensive 30 lessons/wk, one-to-one. The main emphasis of our courses lies in the following areas: the development of communication skills in spoken and written present-day German.
