Florence Culinary Art School (FCAS) provides a two-week Gelato course where students from around the world can learn how to make gelato as well as gaining practical experience as a clerk at an actual Gelateria.

On successful completion of your course, you have the option of completing an internship along with Italian language classes.

Gelato Course - 2 Week Course in Florence: 
This course is taught in Italian with interpreters available in English or Spanish. 
Italian gelato is available with fruit flavors and several kinds of creams, nuts, chocolates in numerous types and varieties.

In your first week, there are training sessions on gelato where you will study the skills of making gelato, and the secrets to the tastes. 

In the second week, you will gain practical experience as a clerk at the actual Gelateria. You will learn about the preferences of the local citizens, and about the workings of an ice-cream shop.

Internship at a Gelato Shop / Gelateria
Enjoy a unique experience as part of the Italian lifestyle and learn about the tastes of the public. On completion of our popular Gelato Course, you can experience an internship in a Gelato shop. In this internship, you can practice making gelato, as well as learn how the shop is run as a shop clerk.

Study Options:
- 24-month Gelato Internship Course: 18-month internship at gelateria + 6 months of Italian language lessons
- 12-month Gelato Internship Course: 6-month internship at gelateria + 6 months of Italian language lessons 

You also have the option of taking English language lessons.
