Ostroverhy Workshops:
Ostroverhy Workshops in Paris and Agay, Cote d'Azur, France offer all year seascape, landscape and portrait painting lessons to students of all levels of skill from complete beginners to advanced painters. Paint in the presence of a European master in the most inspiring scenery France has to offer. Our workshops are lead by Sergio Ostroverhy, finalist of both BP and PSOA competitions, and explore the secrets of à la prima landscape oil-painting, and classical portrait drawing. We provide a tailor-made service with exceptional tuition, exclusive accommodation and magical painting sites.

A natural gateway to the Estérel mountains, Agay is renowned for its sandy beaches, peaceful bay and beautiful scenery. During our Agay workshops, students will learn how to paint land- and seascapes in oil. Every day for five days the students will paint at different sites, with morning sessions devoted to completing one mountain landscape and the afternoons divided between seascapes and excursions to the many attractions the Cote d'Azur has to offer, including historic Antibes, the Picasso museum and Chateau La Napoule. For the workshops in Agay, all the accomodation and materials have been taken care of so all you need to do is relax, enjoy the surroundings and concentrate on painting.

Our Goal:
The main goal of our workshops is to take you to beautiful, awe-inspiring locations, and once there, provide you with the tuition and materials to create great art. By offering high-quality instruction under the guidance of professional artists our aim is to help you realise your creative potential, and share a profound experience of sublime communication with nature through artistic practice. A key part of this is to establish a friendly and supportive atmosphere whilst we teach our step-by-step method for producing stunning land- and seascapes in oil.

We also offer workshops in a variety of locations, from our Parisian backstreet atelier, to the sun-drenched Côte d'Azur, to the splendour of Alpine meadows. We take care of all the practical details, including exclusive accommodation, meals and all your painting materials, leaving you free to soak up the ambiance and focus on your artistic development.

The nearest airport to Agay is Nice Cote d'Azur, the largest airport in France after Paris. Agay is accessible from Nice by direct train from Nice Saint-Augustine train station, half a kilometre away from the airport. The direct train to Agay takes approximately 56 minutes. Once you arrive at the train station in Agay a minibus service from our hotel will pick you up.

For those participants arriving to France in Paris there is a train service from Paris Austerlitz and takes approximately 5hr 7minutes. We are able to offer special discounted train tickets to Agay travelling from Gare de Lyon on the 16th June, returning on the 23rd. What experience do I need?
None. Sergio will begin each painting session with a group demonstration. His one-to-one approach enables Sergio to then spend individual tutoring time with each student to establish their strengths and adapt his methodology to each student's level of ability.

Paris Atelier:
As well as offering workshops in the South of France, Ostroverhy Workshops run drawing classes and courses from our Paris atelier. Located in the pictureseque backstreets of the 14th Arrondisement, our atelier houses a number of different studio spaces and can accomodate classes on a variety of mediums and on a variety of subjects, including classical portrait drawing, still life and live models. As well as studio sessions, we will also run cityscape sessions at various locations around Paris. Our atelier is open all year round for classes and workshops, however we offer special prices should you wish to combine one of our Paris courses with one the other workshops that we run.
