olala! French courses in Chamonix. Françoise Rey-Franco is a French tutor in Chamonix in the Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France offering French courses to students from around the world. I offer "tête-à-tête" (intensive) and "face à face" (extensive) French classes. Both are totally "tailor-made" to your individual needs and requirements. My aim is to help you to feel comfortable in French society. I teach students of all ages and levels - adults, teenagers or children. You can take private lessons or classes in very small groups.
Courses / Programs:
- Intensive week: 3 hours a day morning or afternoon
- Intensive week + lunch: 3 hours every morning + lunch at restaurant every day with me
So that you can be completely independent, I also offer my self-learning program on the Internet which means you can continue to learn and train anywhere, whenever you want.
Maybe you want to improve a second language, prepare for language examinations, meet professional job requirements, or simply to enhance your personal life? Whatever your reasons are, I know that enjoying a lesson leads to greater retention and more success for everyone.
About Me:
I graduated with a Masters in Language Sciences from the Stendhal University of Grenoble, specialising in French as a foreign language. As an independant teacher, I collaborate with the language schools of the region, especially in Chamonix and Megève, but I have my own small structure wich is called Olala. I am also a published author and was the creator and managing editor of a magazine for teenagers. I have been living in Chamonix since 1993, after moving here from Paris, two years after the release of my fisrt book Crash au mont Blanc, which demanded extensive research and brought me into close contact with the local population of Chamonix valley. SInce then, I have continued to work on the identity of the valley. A very rich and fascinating story ... made by people coming from all over the world: mountaineers, scientists, businessmen, engineers, writers, painters, moviemakers, musicians... all inspired by the tallest mountain in Europe.

We provide a wide range of class levels and small-group workshops to ensure that each one of the students can receive a personalized education.
Dividing each level into 5 different stages: Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced and Autonomous, our programs are part of the European structure of References for the French Language.
After years' effort to make our school recognized throughout Paris, our goal is to maintain CEBP the respected and valued French language school of academic excellence with reasonable pricing, so to allow every student to have an abundant growth in each step and every aspect of learning.
CEBP Paris is situated at the heart of the 13th District (central Paris area), where it can be conveniently reached with metro line 7,6,5 or 14.
- Intensive Course
20 hours per week. 2 hours of basic class in the morning and 2 hours of reinforcement class in the afternoon, from Monday to Friday.
- Extensive Course
10 hours of basic class or 10 hours of reinforcement class per week. 2 hours each day from Monday to Friday.
- DELF/DALF Exam Preparation
10 hours per week, from Monday to Friday.
- Private French tutoring / one on one French lessons
(A free tutoring service is offered to all CEBP students. This tutoring is not mandatory but is recommended for students who have difficulties or wishing to improve.)

Come and study and practise French for 50 hours per week and stay at the beautiful Château Correnson situated in Saint-Geniès-de-Comolas a village in the Rhône Valley, at the crossroads between Provence and Languedoc. Nearby are Avignon (airport, TGV train station, 20 minutes away by car), Châteauneuf-du-Pape (10 minutes), Nîmes (40 minutes) all of which are known for their festivals, Roman vestiges or vineyards.
The property is surrounded with stone walls and also comprises a vineyard outside the walls. A local wine grower makes our own wine (Côtes du Rhône and Lirac appelation).
Our original method and our programmes meet your needs. Our philosophy of teaching : to make the communication a pleasure for all the students who trust in us and to associate the French language with a human positive experience. We know that the French learning constitutes for you an enormous personal investment for you. We would like to express you all our admiration and respect.
Our predecessor transformed the château into a hotel-restaurant. Before 1989, it used to be a wine estate. The rectangular courtyard, with a fountain, a well and a fish pond, is surrounded by distinct buildings.
