Centro Italiano Firenze:
At the Centro Italiano Firenze in Florence, it is our goal to teach the beautiful Italian language alongside an appreciation of the culture and history of Florence and northern Italy. The school offers Italian language courses for all levels and nationalities and we offer all of our international students a unique package that we feel can't be beaten. We also like the student to choose how fast they want to learn Italian, and for this we have intensive 1 on 1 courses as well as more relaxed, group courses at our campus in beautiful Florence.
Through our various courses, students can progress from beginner to advanced. Here is a description of each stage of learning:
Levels:
- Beginners (A1)
This course is for students who have never been in contact with the Italian language. Teachers will offer them simple communication instruments to get in touch with other people (introducing, speaking about themselves, ordering at a bar, going shopping, asking for information).
- Elementary (A2)
This course gives students the essential grammatical and lexical instruments for everyday social situations, to narrate past experiences and speak about future expectations.
- Intermediate (B1)
The aim of this course is to give the students the ability to speak correctly about past happenings or to express wishes and suppositions. At the same time, the students will be put into contact with simple Italian texts and passages for discussion.
- Upper intermediate (B2)
At the end of this course, students will have the ability to formulate suppositions in a complete way and to express ideas about every situation. The teaching method is enriched by reading news- papers and magazines and producing written texts.
- Advanced 1 (C1)
The two objectives of this course are a good, analytical knowledge of Italian grammar and the development of speaking abilities through the use of difficult texts and audio-visual media.
- Advanced 2 (C2)
The objectives are the same as those above, but with greater attention to learning different linguistic styles and written production.

At the time of the wine-harvest, Tuscany is at its most picturesque, with people working among the vines, colours turning towards autumn and the scent of fermenting grapes. A wonderful moment for a farm-stay in the hills of the Chianti, with the aim of learning Italian. Terre di Baccio is a farm, but also a place dedicated to making its guests feel truly welcome. Beautiful original furniture, carefully chosen ingredients and skillful preparation of breakfast and meals, which are accompanied by a selection of quality wines and olive oil.
Duration: 1 week

Our two centers in Florence and Naples are at your disposal: compare two cities with a common language, but with totally different customs and history, two different cultures in fact. - Group Courses
The aim of this program is to spend a week or more with your own class surrounded by Italian daily life, practicing the language and exploring the many aspects of Italian culture and society. The program is on offer both in our school based in Florence, and in affiliated schools in other towns such as Orbetello, Lucca, Bologna and Naples, with whom we have close professional links. In our didactic methodology and free time activities we cater specifically for school parties by setting up communicative activities and real-life encounters with Italians to enable students to quickly learn to speak the language in the limited time they have available. Students are lodged with specially chosen families, with half-board, while teachers may opt to stay in a family home, a hotel or an independent flat. Our didactic and administrative staff have years of experience in this area and can, on request, provide references from other schools and teachers abroad who have taken our courses.
Duration: 1 week or more by request
