The AMADEUS Music and Arts Academy empowers students to carve out a unique path of advancement from the beginner to the professional level and to become deeply proficient at their instrument through intense study, practice, and performance.

Combine Music with Academics in our IB Career-related Programme:

In addition to our high quality academic programmes, AMADEUS International School Vienna is currently a candidate school to offering the IB Career-related Programme with a special focus on music.

The programme is for students who would like to pursue their musical career whilst receiving a top international academic education. Students follow undergraduate music studies, and the two-years programme will provide the student with a Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Diploma in Music. Additionally, students will study a minimum of two core academic IB Diploma Programme subjects which will provide them with an International Baccalaureate Certificate of the Career-related Programme. Priority is given to studies in Mathematics and German as prerequisite entry requirements to Universities and music conservatories. Other subjects related to the career-related programme of study may be taken, subject to timetable and availability.

For this specific programme, we only enrol students in Grades 10-11.

AMADEUS Vienna is currently the only school in Europe to offer this pathway. Moreover, we are the first All-Steinway high school in Austria, equipped with 21 Steinway pianos (including one model D and three baby grand pianos), and we have more than 20 dedicated private music practice rooms.

Boarding School Programme - From Grade 6:

- in August 2021 we will open a fully renovated Boarding House which will take 'exclusive boarding' the the next level.

- Our boarding programme offers a 'Home Away From Home' atmosphere and provides the stduents with a once in a lifetime educational experience.

- Our boarding apartments are designed for two students and provide the student with exclusive facilities to study and thrive. This includes an en-suite bathroom, a private sleeping area, working desks, and a large window which let in natural light and offer a view of our surrounding green park.

- The rooftop of our boarding house offers a fantastic 360 degrees view of the green parks, vineyards, mountains, and the city of Vienna.
