Spiritual:

The child will have opportunity for group time, singing, learning about Bible concepts with films and flannelgraphs, and praying. Our curriculum is based on the following truths:
A. The Bible is God's Word and tells us our need for a Savior.
B. God the Father is our Creator and cares for us.
C. God the Son is our Savior and Lord who loves us sinners.
D. God the Holy Spirit brings us to faith and helps us grow in our trust and obedience of God.

Personal/Social:
The child will have opportunities to learn about himself/herself and his/her feelings, how to care for personal needs, and how to get along with adults and peers.

Language:
The child will have frequent opportunities to listen, share ideas, and ask questions of both adults and other children. Learning to use language effectively is an important step toward learning to read in later years.

Motor:
The child will have opportunities to learn control and mastery of large muscles used in body movement, and small muscle used for drawing, painting and constructing.

Aesthetics:
The child will have opportunities to experience the joy of self-satisfaction that comes from creating artwork and music.

Cognitive:
The child will have opportunities to develop the foundations for logical thinking and for math concepts introduced in later years through hands-on activities and by observing, matching, sorting and ordering.

K - 8 Curriculum:

The curriculum includes all the experiences of the child for which our school accepts responsibility. The curriculum provide for the spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical needs of every student. The curriculum meets the requirements for an approved school in the state of Colorado. With the interests of our students in mind, the curriculum is evaluated yearly by the faculty with the purpose of providing the best instruction possible. Word of God is the most important subject in our school curriculum. It is not only taught as a separate subject, but is also incorporated, when appropriate, in all subjects of the curriculum. It is our intent that students learn to connect and apply God’s Word to every aspect of their lives.
