Why Choose The City School?

-  Bringing Light to the City
Our students work to redeem the neighborhoods they love. We view the city from a perspective of hope and renewal, celebrating its beauty and actively working to heal its brokenness.

-  Discipling Hearts
We care for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our students. Values like love, forgiveness and grace are taught and modeled every day. The name of Jesus is glorified, and students are taught to see all truth in light of the Christian worldview.

-  Training Minds
Our rigorous college-preparatory program prepares students for success in their lifelong pursuit of learning. We instill a genuine love of learning in our students.

Academics:

A gifted faculty, using a creative and solid academic program, seeks to prepare every child for the challenges of the future. Each child, with his or her unique strengths and weaknesses, is respected and encouraged to pursue learning with vigor.

We believe that a school based on Biblical principles provides the strongest basis for academic integrity. The Christian worldview provides a unified perspective on all of life, based on the Word of God, the Bible, which is taught, explained, and modeled before our children.

Values such as diligence, faithfulness, respect, honesty, justice and mercy aren't just talked about, but are demonstrated. Parents choose The City School because it provides for the overall well-being and safety of their children.
