Seton Catholic Preparatory High School:
Seton Catholic Preparatory School is a private co-educational high school located southeast of Phoenix in Chandler, Maricopa County, Arizona and offers a college preparatory curriculum with advanced and honors courses as well as college prep SAT and ACT for grades 9-12. Seton Catholic High School provides a college preparatory education with graduation requirements that meet or exceed college entrance criteria. Ninety-nine percent of graduating seniors continue their education, many with college credits already earned through Advanced Placement courses.

Academics:

Seton Catholic's academic curriculum has evolved as well, striving to match the needs of a changing society with a college preparatory curriculum. It is designed to prepare graduates to continue their education at the undergraduate, post-graduate and professional levels. 99% of Seton graduates go on to post-secondary education. The average SAT and ACT test scores for graduates consistently exceed the overall average scores of college-bound Arizona students and graduation requirements meet or exceed college entrance criteria. Seton Catholic is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, as well as the Western Catholic Education Association.

Seton Catholic is proud to offer a wide range of curricular offerings, to challenge and nurture the interests of each one of our students. Our college preparatory environment, which is designed to exceed the requirements of the Arizona state university system offers a wide range of courses from each department including English, Algebra, CalculPhoto of Catholic High School in Chandler AZus , Science , Government, Psychology, Free Enterprise, Economics. We also provide a variety of electives.

Even with our standard rigorous, college prep curriculum, most of our graduates go beyond the minimum requirements through our Advanced Placement program, dual enrollment opportunities through Seton Hill University, or challenging electives such as Anatomy and Physiology, Academic Decathlon or Psychology.

Visual and Performing Arts:
Seton students have the opportunity to pursue their passion for the performing and visual arts through a rapidly growing Fine Arts program that features ceramics, photography and film as well as some of the more traditional two-dimensional media, such as pencil, charcoal, or paint. Briefly, academics at Seton Catholic are challenging and enriching, and these are just some of the ways in which students enjoy the richness and depth of our academic requirement.

Advanced Placement and Honors Courses:

Students interested in Honors and AP classes need departmental approval to take the class. Approval is based on student’s ability, motivation, and grades. If a student is not successful in an Honors class, they may be removed at the discretion of the teacher and/or the Assistant Principal. Success in an Honors or AP class is determined by department minimum grade expectations of students in those classes.

Advanced Placement Courses are taught to honors students who are recommended for an advanced level course. AP courses allow students to take a College Board test which may give them college credit, dependent upon the test score. AP courses are offered in Art, European History, US History, English, Calculus, French, Latin, and Physics. Seton students also take the AP tests in Government, Spanish, and Psychology.

Located in Glendale, Maricopa County, Arizona, Spisak Dance Academy offers dance programs for children, teenagers and adults. Valley Youth Theatre, Phoenix
Courses / Programs
Located in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona, Valley Youth Theatre is a world-class, nationally recognized non-profit theatre. We provide classes and workshops which focus on acting technique, acting for teens, musical theatre, improvisation, story-telling and play building, audition prep, plus one-on-one instruction for children, teenager and young adults ages 3–19. These students may then participate in quality live theatre productions. For 20 years, VYT has trained young people in Arizona in all aspects of the theatre arts and the lessons of life. Our comprehensive program offers weekday and weekend classes as well as week-long workshops for performing arts students of all experience levels.

We also offer the VYT Internship Program allowing dependable, professional, and energetic teens (15+) to assist with performing arts classes and camps. VYT is an award-winning theatre, and was recently selected as "Best of Arizona Children’s Performing Arts" and received the 2008 Governor’s Arts Award for Arts in Education. Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners (up to 5 years), and the adults who love them.
