Ho Math and Chess in Vancouver is the world's largest franchised math and chess specialty learning center and is the leader in the supplemental math specialty education using chess as a teaching tool.
Mr Frank Ho is the founder of Ho Math and Chess Learning Center. Ho Math and Chess was founded by Mr Frank Ho when his son at age 5 was interested in learning chess. Frank Ho did not know how to play chess so he took the initiative to learn it first and then taught his son on how to play. Even though the learning process was tremendous challenging for Frank, he persisted and later his son Andrew became Canadian junior chess champion and a FIDE chess master at age 12.
Our computation techniques do not deviate from the method taught in traditional educational settings. No memorization on special rules required when performing computations. The computation methodology the students will learn at Ho Math and Chess is completely in line with their school work so there will be no confusion. However, using our teaching method, it will enhance a child's ability to understand math better. We have designed a curriculum to inspire children to understand the relationships between basics math operations. The relation between chess and math students will learn at Ho Math and Chess will enhance their understanding of math concepts.
What sets Ho Math and Chess apart from other learning centers is its unique teaching philosophy and its one-of-its-kind workbooks. Frankho puzzle is a special kind of puzzle where Sudoku, chess and math are all combinied into one worksheets. Frankho maze is a special kind of puzzle where mazes and chess are combined and has 3 dimensional effect even though no 3D objects are used, it is fund and educational. Math and Chess integrated wrokbooks invented by Ho Math and chess not only spark children's interest in math, they also raise children's math marks.

Located 45 minutes west of Edmonton, Alberta, Camp Warwa provides summer camp programs and outdoor education for kids and teens from Grade 1 - Grade 11. Skinner Creek ESL Guest Ranch in British Columbia, north of Vancouver, offers 2 unique programs designed for international students, one for ages 7-12 and the other for students ages 13-18. Each student experiences outdoor adventures combined with an intensive English program. Skinner Creek ESL Summer Camp has a cozy atmosphere with a maximum capacity of 16, providing wonderful opportunities for interaction and attention to each student.
Students who come to Skinner Creek have the oppportunity to learn English in an environment entirely different from a regular school setting. English classes are designed to meet the academic and conversational levels of each student.

Main Street Community Services in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is a not for profit community agency. Using a pro-active and cognitive-behavioral approach to learning, our Social Skills Day Camp in Ottawa enables children, ages 5-14, to develop satisfying interpersonal relationships by enhancing skill proficiency in a variety of areas that foster social competency. All staff are university/college educated and trained (including dedicated Developmental Service workers, Social workers and Teachers) with several years of direct experience in this field. The Director, a clinical counsellor and a behavioural specialist are on hand always and have a Master’s level of education.
Through out each camp session children will be provided a fun, safe and therapeutic environment where their individuality and uniqueness is respected and nurtured. Our Summer English Fun Camp is one of our most attended programs, with kids coming to Canada from all over the world! Upon arrival to Canada, students will take a pre-camp English assessment test and will be assigned to their corresponding language levels.
