Columbia International College recognizes that every student’s Academic, Social, Emotional and Physical (ASEP) needs are unique and that these needs change as he student grows. This has led to the development of a holistic education system, the ASEP Total Care Education System®.

Columbia’s ASEP approach takes full advantage of the flexibility of Ontario’s education system, customizing students’ study programs to provide a healthy balance of learning and fun beginning on day one.

We promote education beyond academics and exams and implement innovative and interactive teaching styles in the classroom to develop our students’ skills. We also believe students should enjoy a balanced lifestyle at school and in residence. At Columbia, final marks for most courses are determined equally by course work, test marks and final assessments. In addition, students' develop into people of good character through a balanced schedule of extracurricular events and activities in school and in residence.
