Canada College of Education, Toronto:
Canada College of Education (CCE) is one of the most organized and established language schools in the city of Toronto in Ontario, offering a wide range of ESL (English as a second language) programs and IELTS exam preparation courses for both Canadian and international students. We offer a variety of English classes during the day and evening. Students have options to take courses as full time, part time or take private lessons that suit their schedules.

English Language Programs:

We offer a wide range of English language programs for all levels from beginner to advanced levels:

- Intensive English Language Program:
Our ESL program at CCE is one of the most comprehensive English language programs. In this program, students can select from a variety of courses that accommodate various schedules. Classes are available from the beginner to advanced levels. At CCE, we offer 12 levels of ESL classes. Grammar, reading, writing, conversation, listening, vocabulary, idioms, pronunciation and many more topics will be coverd in the program.

- TOEFL & IELTS English Language Exam Preparation Programs:
* The TOEFL Preparation program prepares students for taking the IBT TOEFL exam. It is carefully designed to teach TOEFL, and graduates have been very successful in taking the examination. The program is divided into several modules, starting with the basics of English and progressing to advanced course materials. The TOEFL Program consists of class instruction and recommends that students take a rigorous and disciplined approach to practise in the computer labs.

All language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) will be covered in the program. Classes are scheduled during the day and evening.

* IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, assesses your level of English proficiency. IELTS is the world’s most popular English testing system.

There are two different types of IELTS tests:

- General Training Test:  This test is designed for those who intend to attain English proficiency for work, training programs, immigration or other purposes. Four skills will be tested (listening, reading, writing and speaking). Some countries such as Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand require the IELTS.

- Academic IELTS Test:  This test is designed for those who want to study or train at university or other institutions of higher education. University admission is based on the results of the Academic IELTS test result. 

Evening classes are scheduled twice a week (from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.) for 6 weeks. Day classes are scheduled 3 times a week (from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. / 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.) on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, for 4 weeks.

- Evening, Part-time, Private & Semi-Private English Language Lessons:
Various class schedules available to suit the needs and requirements of students. Part time studies allow students to work while furthering their language skills. CCE offers a multitude of language programs as part time studies in the evenings and on Saturdays. Students also have the option of taking courses within a group or customized as private lessons.

- Homestay Program with a Local English-Speaking Family:
This provides students with total English language immersion. Host family accommodation enables the student to completely immerse themselves in the English language by living locally with an English-speaking family.

- Business English Program:
The business English course is designed for advanced level English students who have no knowledge or have some knowledge of business, and wish to improve their written and spoken business communication skills. This course familiarizes students with the broad spectrum of today’s business environment, with a focus on using the appropriate business language, vocabulary, and etiquette. This course is designed to rapidly improve students' business and social English skills, using the most effective methods.

- English Language for Aviation (ESL Specialization for the International Language of Aviation):
The English Aviation ESL program at CCE provides language training for international students who desire to become pilots, air traffic controllers, or aviation technologists. The main purpose of the program is to help international students improve their proficiency in English so that they understand the terminology and language of modern aviation.

The program covers all language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking). The components for vocabulary, pronunciation and comprehension of technical documents are designed to fulfill the specific needs of students. The course places great emphasis on direct communication skills (speaking and listening). 

- Summer English Language Packages:
The summer intensive program allows students to choose between 4 or 8 weeks in duration. Learn English and meet new friends from around the world. We provide room, dormitory, hotel or other suitable lodging for international students during their studies at CCE. Extra-curricular activities and tours of Toronto will be offered to students. 

- Additionally:  Students will also have the option of participating in a variety of useful and fun activities at CCE and within the great city of Toronto.
