Oaks Christian School, founded in 2000, continues to build a reputation of being one of the most respected private Christian high schools in California. Boarding School Program for Grades 6-12 (Middle & High School-Age Students)

- All courses are college-preparatory. Advanced Placement (AP) & honors courses in all disciplines allow students to be challenged to their fullest academic potential.

- Homestay program for international students:  Oaks Christian Homestay is a unique feature of our boarding program. Host families are carefully chosen by Oaks Christian School after a background and reference check and personal interviews.

- Small classes allow for meaningful interactions & foster the concepts of unity and teamwork.

- Teachers encourage students to analyze, and explore critical thought, in order to develop a qualified point of view.

Graduation Requirements:

Oaks works with each international student to build a personalized graduation plan according to previous academic background and preparation. Oaks requires 23.5 semester credits to graduate.

Oaks Christian School has attracted faculty from around the country. There is a 12:1 student to teacher ratio. Forty-three percent of our faculty members hold advanced degrees. Our highly qualified, dedicated Christian teachers act as mentors and role models to our students, and inspire them to the highest levels of purpose and achievement.

The Athenian School is a co-educational independent college preparatory school in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. The school is located on a beautiful 75-acre campus at the base of Mt. Diablo, in Danville, Contra Costa County.

We offer a day program for Middle School students (grades 6-8) from the East Bay region and day and boarding programs for Upper School students (grades 9-12) from the US and throughout the world.
