First United Methodist Church Preschool in Santa Monica in western Los Angeles County is a private preschool offering programs to children beginning at 2 1/2 years old (and potty trained). In 1948, the preschool, formerly known as the Nursery School, started to serve the children of church members. It soon expanded into a professional preschool for the community and over the years has gained a reputation as one of the finest in the city. Under the guidance of qualified teachers and a full-time director, the school provides an enrichment program to enhance your child's growth and development physically, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and academically.

The preschool is an integral part of the First United Methodist Church of Santa Monica. The school is an expression of the church’s concern for children and families, and operates within the context of Christian faith and values. We affirm that it is important for children to come to know and love God, and to recognize themselves and others as children of God.
About Us:
At First United Methodist Church Preschool, classes are structured by age so that all the equipment and activities are developmentally appropriate. Teacher / child ratios are kept low to insure a quality preschool education. At mid-morning and after nap time in the afternoon, a variety of snacks are served and at noon a nutritious, hot lunch is prepared by our cook; all of which are included in the cost of the tuition. The preschool is an 11 month program - September through July - and is closed the month of August and on all public school holidays. The preschool is open from 7 am - 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.

In an award-winning facility set on two acres in San Francisco, CA, Brandeis Hillel Day School is a non-affiliated, community school where children from diverse Jewish backgrounds create and participate in an environment of learning and support. Begun in 1963 as the Brandeis School, the school merged with the Hillel Day School in 1973. A Marin campus located in San Rafael was opened in 1978. The curriculum here is varied, integrated and challenging, with students developing a strong foundation in the basic academic disciplines of English, Hebrew, mathematics, science, social studies and Judaic studies. Seven Arrows Elementary School is a co-educational, kindergarten through to sixth grade school in Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles, CA. Pacific Palisades is situated on the Westside of LA, along the Pacific Coast north of Santa Monica, south of Malibu and east of Brentwood. Seven Arrows Elementary School is an outgrowth of Little Dolphins by the Sea Preschool, established 13 years ago in nearby Temescal Canyon.
