Idyllwild Arts Academy:
Located in the San Jacinto Mountains in Riverside County, California, Idyllwild Arts Academy is a co-educational day & boarding arts school that offers a disciplined college preparatory program for grades 9-12 and post-graduates.
The Idyllwild Arts Academy is an independent, coeducational, nonsectarian institution. Students entering the Academy undertake a combined curriculum of pre-professional arts training and college preparatory academic studies.
The Academy provides students in grades nine through twelve with the skills and attitudes that will improve their opportunities for success in the highly competitive world of the arts and in post-secondary education. Thus, the school provides a curriculum that is both traditional and unique and gives the student the opportunity to pursue several different options after high school.

We provide world-class training in creative writing, dance, film & video, interdisciplinary arts, music, theatre, and visual art. The Idyllwild Arts Academy provides pre-professional training in the arts and a comprehensive college preparatory curriculum to a diverse student body of gifted young artists from all over the world.
At Idyllwild, we’re here to educate the whole you—the artist and the scholar. So that means every weekday morning, starting at 8:00 AM, you’ll be taking a range of academic coursework.
Our academic curriculum provides a strong college-preparatory program, challenging you to think critically, to creatively blend your intellectual and artistic perspectives, and to discover a passion for life-long learning. As a result, our graduates are well prepared to enter the leading colleges and universities—as they often do.
When you are not involved in classes, rehearsals or other activities, chances are you'll spend much of your time studying and relaxing in your dorm room or the common room.
With a little time, the dormitory becomes a comfortable and friendly "home away from home." We do our best to provide a family-like atmosphere in our dorms. There is close interaction between students and dorm parents, fostering an atmosphere of care and mutual understanding.

Founded in 1924, Southwestern Academy is a private, college preparatory boarding and day school for boys and girls in grades 6 through 12. Located 28 miles northeast of Santa Barbara, in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley in southern California, Dunn School is a college preparatory day & boarding school with a focus on developing each student's academic and personal potential.
