Intensive course Intensive language study is by far the best way to guarantee learning success--no matter what your level or language aptitude might be. Intensive learning is the optimal way to get you over the initial hurdles in your study of the language or to rapidly improve on the German you already know. - Intensive German courses are offered for beginners (A1 - Beginner 1) up to advanced students (C2 - Advanced). - An intensive course consists of 20 course hours and is offered mornings from 9:30 am to 1pm or afternoons from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
Evening course The sprachenatelier is now offering German courses for those who would like to improve their German but don't have the time to take courses during the day. The evening German courses are offered twice per week, from 6:00p.m. to 7:30p.m. The lessons are individually tailored to match the requirements of the learner—whatever they might be—school, work, or simply to improve your communication abilities. The atmosphere of our evening classes is relaxed and conducive to adult learners. Classes are small in size (no more than 10 students).
Certificate German The examination Zertifikat Deutsch (ZD) is a worldwide recognised examination taken at the conclusion of the basic level (Grundstufe). In order to pass the examination successfully, 350 to 600 lessons in German should have been attended. The ZD is located on the internationally recognised Common European Reference Framework at Stage B1.
The Zentrale Mittelstufenprüfung (ZMP) The Zentrale Mittelstufenprüfung (ZMP) is proof that you have a good command of standard German. At this level of proficiency you are able to speak and write about various topics correctly and also to understand rather demanding texts. Practically all colleges, many higher education institutions (Fachhochschulen) and some German universities accept this certificate as proof of sufficient knowledge of German for a course of study.
The TestDaF The Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache (Test of German as a Foreign Language) TestDaF is a language test suitable for learners of German at an intermediate to high level of language proficiency who want to prove their knowledge. The competent organization for the creation and carrying out of this exam is the TestDaF-Institut in Hagen. The TestDaF provides the universally recognised proof of the language skills required for admission to any German university. The DSH-examination People who wish to study at the university level, take their degree or do a doctorate in Germany have a lot of things to see to. First they have to file an application for university admission, secure the financing, and arrange all the other formalities. But that's not all. In addition, they must take an examination to demonstrate their knowledge of German, named DSH, the Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber. Most higher-education institutions expect foreign students to sit the DSH as a requirement for admission to a full course of academic study.
