Holy Angels Catholic School:
Holy Angels Catholic School is a private elementary school located in Aurora within Kane, DuPage, Kendall, and Will counties, 35 miles west of Chicago, IL, offering pre-school through to eighth grade education programs. We are a community of priests, educators and parents dedicated to providing a combination of religious and academic excellence. In addition to basic academic subjects, Holy Angels offers other educational opportunities, including computer classes in grades K-8 and accelerated math classes in grades 6-8. The school, with an enrollment of over 600 students, is the largest Catholic school in the Rockford diocese.
Education Programs from Pre-school through 8th Grade (K-8):
- Preschool Program:
The Holy Angels Preschool Program provides children with the learning environment to stimulate their interest, and to nurture the interests that make life rich and abundant. When children enter preschool, they come to build habits and to share experiences that will help them learn skills when they are ready to learn them. It is our goal through our Preschool Program to implant an unquenchable love for learning in all children that will go with them throughout their entire school lives.
- Kindergarten & Grades 1-8 Programs:
As well as basic academic subjects, we offer computer classes (K-8) and accelerated math classes (6-8). The excellence of Holy Angels' academic programs are manifested in its high standardized testing scores, numerous scholastic awards and prizes, and the success of its graduates in high school, college, and beyond. Projects from the science fair and history fair advance to the regional level and capture top honors at the state level.
- Remedial Classes:
Remedial classes are available to children who need special help with basic academic skills.
- Fine Arts Program:
An emphasis on music and fine arts is evident in the school's concert band, jazz band, chorus, and general art and music programs.
- Athletic Program:
The Holy Angels Parish School Athletic Program aims to provide students with the opportunity to develop individual athletic abilities while preparing students for competitive team play. Teamwork, sportsmanship, and striving toward one's personal and team goals are emphasized throughout the program.
- Extra-Curricular Programs:
Holy Angels Parish School offers several extra-curricular programs for our students. Each of our programs is designed to offer academic, social, cultural, or spiritual enrichment to your child's education. We encourage each of our students, as grade level permits, to participate in one of our programs.
- Extended Care Program:
Holy Angels School provides extended day care as a service for families attending our school who desire additional, quality supervision for their children before and/or after school. This program is offered to children in Preschool through 8th grade.

The Stage School is a part time performing arts school for children ages 4-16. Our classes for kids and teens are held in Park Ridge IL, 20 minutes north-west of Downtown Chicago.The Stage School nurtures your child’s potential as they experience fun activities in drama classes, dance classes, and singing classes every Saturday.
In our classes, students will develop the core fundamentals of acting, singing, and dance. All students receive top quality, personalized instruction in all three disciplines.
Our classes consist of a variety of fun and engaging activities which help kids succeed both on and off the stage.
There are many worthwhile children’s activities in Park Ridge, but The Stage School provides a unique and fun learning environment.

The Premier Program (Ages 4-6 years)
- Classes held every Saturday
- The class is a 90 minute program
- Each student takes a 30 minute acting class, a 30 minute singing class, and a 30 minute dance class
The Company Classes (Ages 6-16 years)
- Held every Saturday for three hours.
- Students are divided into three groups based on their age.
- Each group attends a one hour acting class, a one hour singing class, and a one hour dance class
Kids Connection Preschool, located in Joliet in Will and Kendall Counties, Illinois (40 miles south-west of Chicago), is a Preschool offering education programs to children ages 3, 4 and 5 years. Classes are structured with the same age groupings as the public school classes. The activities and materials of the classes are geared toward the interests and abilities of children their age. Care is taken to avoid pressure, but time for individual growth is provided through free play choices, small group activities and one-on-one attention. As children feel love and acceptance, they will learn.

The Paintbrush, opened in 2005, is a children's art studio owned by sisters Melanie and Mindy Apel in Lakeview on the North Side of Chicago, Cook County, IL. At The Paintbrush, kids do more than just paint. Starting at 18 months old, kids learn about famous artists, listen to music and create their own inspired works of art and projects inspired by the artists' styles. The Paintbrush offers a selection of classes geared to different ages along with workshops and summer camp. Classes are ongoing, so kids can join anytime.
The mission of The Paintbrush is to introduce young children to the wonderful world of art. The main goal is to teach kids to love art and have an understanding of the artists they study and whose works inspire their own creations.
