C&C Language Support, Amsterdam:
C&C Language Support is a Dutch language school located in Central Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We offer a range of quality, personalised and professionally delivered Dutch language lessons for individuals and small groups. Our classes concentrate on practical use and conversation and are tailored to suit the individual your individual needs.
- Group Dutch classes (beginner to advanced)
- Private Dutch lessons (beginner to advanced)
We offer Dutch for beginners as well as more advanced classes that are suitable for ex-pats who wish to improve their Dutch language skills. Through our informal individual sessions, or in small groups, we can help you achieve your goals without the pain and stress of a classroom situation. You can progress at your own pace and measure your progress through a series of easy tasks we will set you.
Private Dutch Lessons:
Private Dutch lessons will concentrate on the needs of the person concerned and as a result will proceed at that individual's own pace.
The lessons take place in the afternoon or evening, in an ordinary living room atmosphere. Coffee will usually be provided and you can relax and enjoy your lesson without having to sit in a school room situation like many of the larger language schools.
Lessons are based on hourly sessions but it is always possible to book for one and a half or two hours. A longer time is inadvisable, especially for beginners because from experience, too much information in one session, is difficult to absorb.
Group Dutch Classes:
Groups will be kept to a maximum of four people and will generally be tailored to the needs of the group but don't worry if you feel you're falling behind - you will never be neglected! The groups will be selected on a basis of language experience, so if you're a beginner, you will never be placed with a group of intermediates or experts. If at any time you feel you're out of your depth, or conversely, too far ahead of the rest, we can always change your group to suit your needs.
Lessons will be only partly grammatically-based. That is to say, from experience we have learned that most people are not interested in learning the complexities of Dutch grammar, they are generally here for a short period of time and they just want to be able to communicate to the best of their ability. Most of your learning will be done in a practical manner - speaking Dutch and applying it to the right situation. Written work and grammar can come later if you so desire and of course will be more relevant to advanced learners.
