American Overseas School of Rome:
Located in north Rome, Lazio region in central-western Italy, the American Overseas School of Rome is a fully accredited pre-kindergarten through 12th grade (ages 3-19) institute of learning. The curriculum is that of U.S. general academic, college-preparatory public or private schools. The School offers both the Advanced Placement and the International Baccalaureate programs. Our faculty focuses on the use of consistent assessment to gauge student understanding and to best focus lessons for student learning.
The School's testing program includes the College Board's PSAT, SAT/ACH, and Advanced Placement tests, as well as the full complement of IB examinations. Instruction is in English. French, Spanish, Mandarin, Chinese, and Italian are taught as foreign languages. As part of our Italian program Italian students can prepare for the quinta, prima, seconda and terza media exams. In addition to academic subjects we offer an extensive athletics program as well as a fine arts program. The School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and is the first school to be granted an International Credential from the Middle States Association.

The American Overseas School of Rome is located at the 10th kilometer mark north of the city center on the Via Cassia (S2).
Facilities: The six-acre suburban campus includes a central quadrangle, shaded by umbrella pines and surrounded by lawns, shrubs, and flowering plants. Five separate buildings and the grounds include 55 classrooms, 4 science laboratories, 4 computer laboratories, a gymnasium, a cafeteria/auditorium, an infirmary, 2 libraries, an outdoor amphitheater, tennis and basketball courts, and soccer and softball fields.

DIRECTIONS: Below are the various ways to reach AOSR. Please have identification ready before entering the school. At the entrance gate you will be given an entrance pass in exchange for an ID.
TAXI: Tell the driver "Scuola Americana sulla Via Cassia ottocentoundici" or show the address written on a paper.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: From Piazzale Flaminio (Piazza del Popolo), take the 225 tram to Piazza Mancini (end of the line). Take either bus 301 or 201. They cross the Tiber river and head north on two different roads but come together on the Via Cassia. From this point, count three traffic lights. The odd numbered addresses are on the left and the school is only 100 meters past the Tomb of Nero which is also on the left side. AOSR has white sign with 811 written in big red letters and the bus will stop after the traffic light. The pedestrian cross walk is right there.
BY CAR on the Via Cassia:Take Exit 3 off the GRA and head for Rome center along the Via Cassia. The odd numbers will be on the right side. There are three shopping centers to pass before arriving at the school. The sports field is seen first on the right and the entrance to the school is 70 meters past the traffic light. There is a white sign with 811 written in big red letters. Turn in and the guard will open the sliding gate.
BY CAR from the Center: Along the Lungotevere follow the signs for Autostrade, Cassia/Flaminia and Ponte Milvio. Follow the river along Lungotevere Flaminio. Turn left to cross the river at the bridge Ponte Duca d'Aosta (the Olympic Stadium will be in front of you) and at the end of the bridge turn right for Ponte Milvio. At Ponte Milvio turn left onto Via Cassia Antica. Continue along the Cassia and you will come to a circle in the road, Piazza Giochi Delfici. Go straight across and continue along the Via Cassia Antica which dips down then climbs up an S curve to arrive at a traffic light. From this point, count three traffic lights. The odd numbered addresses are on the left and the school entrance gate is only 100 meters past the Tomb of Vibio Mariano which is also on the left side in the zone Tomba di Nerone. AOSR has white sign with 811 written in big red letters. Turn in and the guard will open the sliding gate.

St. Stephen's School is a non-denominational, co-educational, international boarding and day school, enrolling students from age 14-19 in grades 9-12, and for a postgraduate year. Founded in 1964, St. Stephen's provides a demanding classical and liberal arts college-preparatory curriculum. We offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in grades 11 and 12, as well as the American High School Diploma and a selection of Advanced Placement examinations.We can accommodate approximately 40 students living in double rooms, with occasional triples or singles, depending on availability, all with Internet and network access. The Bilingual Montessori School of Milan is a preschool for children ages three to six years, located close to the city centre of Milan, Italy. We provide bilingual education to our students: In both classrooms, a team of two teachers, one an Italian speaker and the other an English speaker, collaborate using a bilingual approach to education. The two teachers take turns with the childrens' activities, while communicating in their native tongues. The bilingual approach is particularly appropriate for a Montessori classroom, where teachers typically emphasize individualized interaction with the students.
