Creative thinking - Script Development - Cartoon Movie Appreciation - Story Board - Classical Animation - Stick Animation - 2D Animation - Stop Action - Clay Animation - Puppet Animation - Time Lapse Animation - Cut Out Animation - Color Theory - Cinematography (Lighting, Camera angles, lens…)

SEMESTER II
The students will be learning and experimenting with all the basic animation skills they have mastered in the SEMESTER I.

Maya Interface - Motion Builder Interface - Character animation - Blend Shapes - Lip Sync - Walk Cycle - Project Work… Project Work… Project Work…

SEMESTER III
In this semester, the students will be able to choose the option between getting specialized in Animation or 3D modeling.

Set Modeling - Drawing Characters - Clay Modeling - Character Modeling - Z-Brush - Mud Box - Advanced Maya Animation - Advanced Motion Builder Animation and the students will start working on real projects with animation skills that they have learned in the previous semester. The timing will be shared between the study and real work.

SEMESTER IV
Project work - Work on real projects - Avid Editing - Compositing (Digital Fusion / Combustion) - Presentation software and DVD authoring - Soft skill development (Interview skills and other skills required to be successfully part of a team) - Demo DVD preparation - Campus interview

Visual Effects - Sandwich full time 1 year professional diploma

1. Roto, WireRemoval, Color Correction, Keying, Tracking Stabilizing, 3D Compositing, Colour Matching, Morphing.

2. Basics of Editing.Software Covered: Combustion, Digital Fusion, Boujou, Elastic Reality, Avid.
