Abbey Road Programs, Nice:
Set in the stunning surroundings of Nice, on the south coast of France, Abbey Road Programs provides a 4-week residential French language immersion summer course for high school students in Grades 9-12. With classes for beginner to advanced levels, we offer French studies in the Arts, Language, Culture, Sports and Recreation including a range of specialized elective courses such as French film, literature, pop culture, and more.

Daily Schedule:
When imagining what your summer in Nice will be like think of the program in terms of weekdays versus weekends: Monday through Friday you will take classes, hang out with friends, enjoy meals in the residence, and explore the city through group activities. 
Your French language class meets every morning while your pre-selected elective meets on a tri-weekly basis. This frees up two afternoons per week to try things like parasailing, sea kayaking, ceramics, beach volleyball, to visit a new exhibit or to simply enjoy an afternoon treasure hunt in the local markets.
On weekends the schedule shifts as we tour the surrounding region. Your program staff has pre-planned excursions and day trips so that Saturdays and Sundays are your opportunity to get “out” and explore (and also sleep in a little if needed).
Day Trips:
Nice is quite literally surrounded by some of the most beautiful sites in France; rest assured we won’t let you go home without seeing as many of them as possible! Be prepared to wonder at Picasso’s master wor
ks in incredible Antibes and bask in the opulence of Monte Carlo with its princely palace and its storied casino.
Prepare yourself for a journey back in time during our exploration of the medieval perched village of Saint Paul de Vence and be transported further still as we tantalize our senses at Fragonard Parfumerie located in the picturesque village of Èze. We may even skip over the border into Italy for a visit to Ventimiglia for pizza and gelato!
Optional Travel Extension – Paris:
Ah, Paris! The city of lights! Delicious food, fantastic art, amazing architecture, the list goes on and on. A four-day visit to Paris is the perfect way to complete an Abbey Road adventure in France. Our exciting itinerary includes both guided visits to museums and historical sites and time for you to discover the city’s famous neighborhoods.
Sure we will show you the Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay, the Centre Pompidou, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Eiffel Tower, among others, but you will also be free (within our safety guidelines) to enjoy the city’s famous café scene and shopping districts with your good friends in tow. Who knows, you just might even take a dinner cruise on the river Seine!

The Language and Sport Academy offers expert French and Spanish tuition alongside sporting activities, in idyllic settings in both France and Spain.At the Academy, we offer a range of different combinations of courses. Students can study a language and play a sport or choose language only or sport only. Students who choose to study a language will benefit from our intensive focused approach (oral, aural and written). Students who choose one of our sport options will be coached by the best instructors from their specific field.

Located in Bièvres, a western suburb of Paris, Energy Academy provides tennis, golf and soccer club activities for children and teens.For more than 25 years, children between the ages of 3 and 17 have met at Energy Academy Club in Paris all year round, during the school term as well as during the holidays.
Energy Academy owns its tennis, golf and multi sports club which stretches out over a green 5 acres park where everything has been specially thought out for children.

Edu-Culture Immersion (ECI) specializes in 2-6-week summer study abroad programs for groups of high school & college students, ages 15-21.Live with a family in France for between 2 and 6 weeks in the summer. We will choose a family most suited to you, and usually with a teen of a similar age. You will speak only French and you will be completely integrated in French family life and culture. This is the best way to improve your spoken French.
Our families are located in the town of Gap in the French Alps, and the town of Hyeres on the French Riviera (Cote d'Azur), giving you a beach or Alpine experience! Or families are carefully chosen and are all volunteers, wanting to host in order to forge a connections with a student from the U.S.
You can also enhance and make the most out of your stay by taking one to one French lessons or taking part in sports. This is a very flexible program. You choose the dates and length of stay.
During your stay you will have regular contact with our local Host Family Coordinator who is on call 24/7.
ECI also provide summer language immersion programs in Spain for high school and college students.
