The CNA program at APLMED Academy offers a hospital atmosphere, which aims to help you familiarize with the working environment.

You will learn with hands-on training by a certified and working CNA instructor and take part in an unpaid externship to gain “real-life” experience and build a resume before entering the job field.

Phlebotomy Technician Program:
Successful graduates of our Phlebotomy Program gain essential skills and education in phlebotomy that will enable them to effectively communicate and interact personally and professionally in a health care setting.

Our program includes safe and efficient work practices that teach students to:

- Obtain specimens
- Collect blood by venipuncture or capillary
- Handle specimens
- Proper labeling, sorting and preparation for testing
- Communication skills
- Emergency procedure
- ‘Real-Life’ Experience

Home Care Administrator/Manager Training:
The HCAMT will strengthen your competencies to position your organization for success and help you integrate the complexities of quality, compliance, financial management, and strategic performance.

The goal of the Home Care Administrator Management Training is to provide a supportive learning environment for administrators and senior managers.

Located just off Interstate 25 in Centennial CO, South Denver School of Nursing Arts is dedicated to providing an excellent foundation in healthcare education and Nurse Aide Training that allows students to become entry level care providers in an atmosphere that encourages students to attain their personal and professional goals.

Our Nurse Aide Training Program provides 104 hours of instruction, including 24 hours of clinical experience. Class size limited to 10, and students will gain preparation and experience in basic nursing assistant procedures and skill, patient care, safety and emergency care, and clinical experiences. We are fully approved by the Colorado State Board Of Nursing and all of our students are taught by an experienced and friendly staff of professional nurses.
