Online Homeschool Academic Program for High School Students Grades 9-12:
We believe that a strong base in math, science, and technology is the key to success in the 21st century. In addition to rigorous coverage of the high school math and science curriculum, Provost Academy South Carolina offers courses that introduce students to a unique variety of scientific topics, such as environmental science, astronomy, sports science, computer science and technological sciences.
These courses have a dual purpose of engaging students in the scientific content as well as teaching innovative thinking and problem solving skills to ensure success after high school.

Testing and Academic Progress:
At PASC each student, teacher, and Parent can quickly and easily know a student's academic progress at any time. Students take tests and quizzes daily in every course, and this progress is clearly reported in the Student and Parent home page. Our technology system also uses daily quiz information to determine if a student is falling behind.
If a student falls behind, the system generates an automatic alert which will be used to get the student immediately back on track, and adjust the student's individual learning plan if necessary. These alerts can be seen by all of the student's support team, including Academic Advisors, Instructors, Graders and parents.
Grades and Assignments:
Students, parents, and Instructional Staff can see grades and upcoming assignments quickly and easily on their home page. Daily quizzes and other multiple choice assignments are graded automatically by the system so that students have immediate feedback.
Attendance and Usage Information:
Attendance is automatically tracked and alerts are sent for unexcused absences. At any time, Instructional Staff can see where students have spent their time in a course, exactly what content has been accessed, and for how long. This helps them to understand and assist when students are experiencing problems, or to suggest that a student explores additional resources to meet their full potential.

Providence Athletic Club (PAC) is a non-profit organization that provides competitive high school level sports opportunities for home educated athletes in the Columbia, South Carolina region. Our Junior Varsity Teams are available to students in grades 6-10, and our Varsity Teams are available to students in grades 6-12. Participation on our teams is open to all home educated athletes who meet the age and eligibility requirements for each sport.
