Photo of English Courses in Seattle The language program is based on current research that suggests a level improvement in a second language takes approximately 220 hours of study. Therefore, students will have 30 hours of one-to-one language study per week for four weeks (120 hours), plus 10 hours per week of independent study in the language lab (40 hours).

The other 60 hours are filled with self-study, self-reflection through journal writing and portfolio work. You will be completely immersed in an English-speaking environment. Additionally, if you have ESP (English for Specific Purposes) needs, tours of local businesses and meetings with professionals in your field of expertise can be arranged to enhance your learning experience.

This program is tailored to your unique needs. A personalized program will be designed to ensure your 4-week program meets and/or exceeds your goals and expectations.
