Advance English Academy:
Advance English Academy, San Francisco conveniently located in the center of San Francisco, 2 blocks from the Civic Center BART station. Advance is a small, friendly English language school where you will instantly feel at home. By keeping our classes small (8 to 10 students per class), we are able to offer a high level of personalized English lessons, allowing you to learn English quickly and easily in our offers fun and exciting ESL, iBT TOEFL and TOEIC classes.
Advance English Academy, is a SEVP Approved School (SEVP, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program, is a US federal government program), and authorized by federal law to enroll non-immigrant students (I-20).
- Full time Intensive English (ESL), iBT TOEFL & TOEIC Preparation classes - $250 for 4 weeks in beautiful San Francisco. Also: Private Lessons (one-on-one), Conversation English Classes, Business English, English for Travel, Summer English courses, ESL Workshops, Movie Classes and a Book Club.
- Full-time ESL: General English and academic ESL Programs at 5 levels. Advance to the top level and receive a certificate of completion.
- iBT TOEFL Preparation Course: TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is required of all non-native English speakers applying to undergraduate and graduate programs in North America and in many countries wordwide. We will help you to achieve the score that you need for acceptance to a community college, or university. This course prepares students for all sections (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) of the iBT TOEFL test.
- TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) is recognized and accepted by recruiters, employers, corporations and educational institutions worldwide. It has set the standard of English language skill measurement by companies and organizations, and measures your listening, reading and grammar proficiency in English required for international business.
Experience American culture by sharing with their host family in everyday life. We personally select friendly and caring homestay families in who live on average 30 mins travelling time from the school. Homestay includes private or shared room, breakfast and evening meals during the week and all meals on weekends.
Other Accommodation
Residential Housing options are located near to our school and they are fully equipped with everything that you will need. You can choose single or double bedrooms with private or shared bathrooms, and decide on your private apartments, etc in San Francisco. If you prefer a private apartment, we will make arrangements for you.
Learning (American) English involves understanding American culture. If you enjoy and understand American culture, you will enjoy and quickly improve your English. For this reason, we integrate fun events, activities, and excursions to exciting places in California & Nevada, as part of our program.
We offer weekend excursions such as skiing/ snowboarding in winter & water skiing in summer at Lake Tahoe, hiking in Yosemite National Park, camping trips to Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Los Angeles, Death Valley, Pt. Reyes National Seashore, and much more. We also offer sporting activities with all the equipment available, such as soccer, volleyball, badminton, and indoor rock climbing.

Advance is happy to pick you up directly from the airport once you arrive in San Francisco. Please make arrangements for this service upon registration.
